i've gotten some private messages about the social club, so i'll just answer here.
it really is no big deal. awhile back a group of friends and i were trying to figure out how we could see our rather diverse group of friends more often, since they had Nothing in common.
and someone suggested the tv show moonlighting, and then the moonlighting social club was born.
that way i could do something like see a old fashioned woman friend in her 80s and a male cross dressing performer friend in his 20s. what do they have in common? you should have seen them watch the black and white moonlighting. (dream sequence?) she loved the memories it brought back and he loved cybill shephards Look. and the next thing you know they are working on a committe for something or another together.
it's just a neighborhood thing (san francisco and the bay area) no big deal.
