David was good. I think Randy was a bit harsh. I think he should have chosen a more serious song for his first performance, and saved this for the later rounds. I do agree with Simon that it came off as a bit of a joke, but it was nice seeing a "JPL-esque" performance. Eh, I still like him though.

I think he's better than John Stevens though, and I think he can really give us a "WOW" performance if he chooses the right song.

yeah erm hes trying to be a rocker...and he like...cant. its...really...weird. its kinda boring throughout. it never really gets exciting. its like...your expecting this big breakthrough where it gets OMGMGMG EXCITING and it never does. that ending was ROUGHHHH. not good...6/10

I think potentially he has a REALLY good voice. I think he did a good (though not fantastic) job. I wasn't a fan of the song choice though, because his style isn't R&B, but it was an interesting change.

He's just so full of life and he's really into singing and is very comfortable being who he truly is, and it's just so inspiring! Plus, he's got a GREAT voice! I also like Chris Daughtry, Bucky Covington, and even Ace Young. I think these four gentlemen were the best of the night. Honorable mention to Gideon McKinney for his fun rendition of Shout.
