Actually, Dallas also showed some interest in TO. I think he could possibly be a Jet. You know the Jets will draft a QB and if TO goes to New York, they will have a receiver that is 10 times better than Chrebet will ever be.

Black or white, Vick does suck as a passer. He has 51 career starts now, and a 75.8 career rating and a 51/39 career TD/Int ratio.

He's a bit big (with the expected weight work he'd have to do) to be a running back. I'd strongly suggest he either get better at passing the ball or convert to corner or wideout if he wants to remain in this league long-term.

His time at quarterback is just about up unless there's a drastic change. The Falcons have given him the receivers, so 2006 had better be his year. Nothing racial about that, he's just not getting the job done.

He does NOT suck as a QB! He's one of the top 5 QBs in the league. Give him some credit. He's not the best, and yeah his passing rating isn't the most accurate, but he is a lot better than most good QBs currently in the league. Stop hatin' on Michael Vick, because he don't deserve that.

Garfieldkool I will say that he has won some postseason Games ;ike in GB but everyone is still waiting to see what can he do as a Passing QB. Mcnabb showed he could be a passer after his first couple of years but Vick has yet to show it. He still has a "Run First Pass Second" Attitude

Not even close to the top five, sorry. The running is a nice novelty, but it makes him more fragile and it has less effect on games because he isn't killing teams with his arm. You need to be more accurate to force teams out of the simpler zones.

Hopefully, you can separate hating on him from simply seeing that he's a bit of a bust so far as a number-one pick. The Falcons had the best rushing attack in the NFL this season, but were in the middle of the pack in points scored. Vick's the reason - you can play bend-not-break against them right now.

Next season's the test. Michael Jenkins should be fully developed and Roddy White should be effective. If Vick can't step it up, he's going to have to step aside.

Yeah, that's what I thought.

Okay, fair enough.

Here's the deal. Quarterback is a special position, and a quarterback needs special skills. Not just throwing the ball, not just being able to evade the rush, and certainly not just speed.

A quarterback must be a true leader. And Terrell Owens has never played with a true leader. Jeff Garcia was tough, but he wasn't inspiring and he wasn't The Man in the locker room and in the huddle. Donovan McNabb is very tough, and perhaps inspiring, but he's not The Man, either. He tends to be quiet and let the other veterans take the lead.

Owens is a big baby, and he needs leadership more than perhaps anyone in the modern game. A team with a true leader at quarterback could whip him into shape.

I hear good things about Jake Plummer in Denver, and, for that matter, Vick has solid leadership skills. Drew Bledsoe in Dallas has the unquestioned respect of his teammates, so does his replacement in New England, Tom Brady.

Owens might be a good fit with any of these teams. I know if I were Vick, I'd step up right now and tell management I can handle Owens, so make it happen. Vick has to know he's got only one more chance - might as well have the most talented receiver in football along for the ride.

Vick is a great athlete with a solid head on his shoulders (unlike his brother) and one weakness: a scatter arm. Owens is a phenomenal athlete with a ten-cent head. They may make a good team for all I know.
