Baywatch is finally coming to DVD!
A best of set will be hitting stores this summer and then after that season sets will be released. Pamela Anderson will be very involved with these releases and will be picking the episodes for the best of set as well as contributing to the extras. Anderson has joined First Look Studios for the releases and they are working on getting David Hasselhoff involved. Hopefully they can get lots of involvement from him as well as many of the other cast members. It says they have obtained the rights to nine seasons...so I guess we will finally get to see that first season from NBC again. They plan to release Baywatch (Seasons 10/11 technically being Baywatch Hawaii and more like a spin-off than continued seasons of Baywatch).

Lots of great Baywatch news lately...the return to Spike TV and the DVD release announcement all in one week! That best of set will be released around the time when the Spike TV contract runs out...so if no other channel picks it up, we'll have something to hold us over. Also, don't forget there is a Baywatch movie in the works!
