moeee 02-15-2006, 10:11 PM The deadline is a week away, what player can you see changing teams?
I think Steve Francis is going somewhere. The Magic picked up Arroyo and Milicic today from the Pistons.
Dumballa 02-15-2006, 10:42 PM Really . .. Yeah Milicic was never going to play in Detroit so I get that.
Francis will probably be moved, to where I'm not sure. I'm don't relly see any blockbusters unless Minnesota pulls tha trigger on Garnett, highly unlikely.

Unless Joe D. has something else up his sleeve, this deal was crap for the Pistons. Lindsey Hunter isn't going to cut it backing up Billups, and I don't think the Rookie Alex Acker can, but hey...Apparently Dumars is really high on the guy. So who knows? It's a good thing Tayshaun Prince is so flexible, he actually was very effective as backup-point for the Pistons vs. San Antonio earlier in the season when Arroyo was suspended and Lindsey was still recovering from surgery.
I can definetly see Francis being moved after this trade.
moeee 02-16-2006, 02:43 AM In return, the Pistons got Kelvin Cato. Another PF/C that can help eat minutes, but you already have Dale Davis for that.
I hope Joe swings another deal by the end of next week to find a legit backup PG. Or else, they will be like last year's team, Billups playing near 40 min a game and no backup.
Dutabi84 02-16-2006, 03:35 AM A Francis/Marbury backcourt would be a lot of fun to watch. I wouldn't mind seeing that trade come through.
I would also like to see the Wolves make another move, maybe move one of their 4 point guards somewhere - as long as any trading they do does NOT involve Garnett.
Darko was going to get traded eventually so that move didn't surprise me.
There have been rumors going around that Lamar Odom or Kenyon Martin may be traded to the Knicks. If it is Kenyon, it looks like the Knicks will get rid of Nate Robinson and David Lee. That would be a very stupid move. The Knicks have too many superstars and they will never win with Isiah Thomas as general manager.
isiahthomas 02-16-2006, 06:21 PM I saw on ESPN today that Darko and Carlos Arroyo was traded. I was baffled by the Pistons giving up Carlos because he's a decent point guard. Who is gonna back up Chauncey now? LOL@Dale Davis. The Pistons don't need him. He's washed up. He does nothin anyway and they barely play him. Kelvin Cato will be getting a lot of minutes because he's a good shot blocker and rebounder. DJ you're right about Isiah Thomas. He's made a lot of questionable decisions since he's been with the Knicks. LOL@him giving up Kurt Thomas for Quentin Richardson hahahahahahahahaha. That was stupid. Quentin is wack. All he does is shoot threes. His defense is wack. Kurt can do it all. He can score, rebound, play defense. DJ did you hear about Stephon Marbury and Quentin almost getting into a fight a few weeks ago? I heard about this from somebody on ESPN. I wonder what they were arguing about.

who stole thier joints!

I didn't hear about that. They have been keeping it very quiet in New York. If Isiah goes, expect one of them getting traded, most likely Q because they got Crawford. Isiah's moves are not questionable, he favors superstars that are black, not whites, or even mulattos. That is why Matt Barnes got cut. He really impressed me and he ends up going to Philadelphia. Remember the Keith Van Horn/Tim Thomas swap? Keith was playing very well and getting along with Marbury. An all around player traded for someone who's career is most likely over. Think about this: Keith Van Horn gone, Michael Doleac gone, Bruno Sundov gone, Matt Barnes gone. All the whites and mulattos were dumped.
isiahthomas 02-16-2006, 08:59 PM LOL@Moeee hahahahahahahahahahaha. They were probably arguing about who shoots the ball the most LOL.
moeee 02-21-2006, 11:05 PM Guys did you see that Trade Machine at espn.com? Somehow they managed to pull off a BIG 18 player trade!!! all of the salaries matchup correctly with each team!
vashti1999 02-22-2006, 02:38 PM Mike and the Mad Dog are now reporting the Knicks trade Penny Hardaway and Trevor Ariza for Steve Francis
moeee 02-22-2006, 04:51 PM Mike and the Mad Dog are now reporting the Knicks trade Penny Hardaway and Trevor Ariza for Steve Francis
its official. what do you think about this trade?
Dutabi84 02-22-2006, 05:33 PM The Knicks are going to be fun to watch. This trade also gives the Magic a ton of cap space for 2007.
isiahthomas 02-22-2006, 05:35 PM If that trade happened, that's a dumb ass trade. Who's gonna start at point guard for Orlando now? Penny Hardaway is washed up and he gets injured too much. He needs to retire and so does Grant Hill. I hate it when athletes act like they're scared to retire.
hatwink 02-22-2006, 05:36 PM Maybe Stackhouse will come back to Detroit.
isiahthomas 02-22-2006, 05:37 PM I doubt it. I don't think he wants to leave Dallas especially since they're doing so well this year.
Pavan 02-22-2006, 05:37 PM Knicks have way too many guards. Marbury, Francis, Q, and Crawford. Not to mention Nate Robinson.
Penny back in Orlando. If he even plays, that is.
TVFactFan 02-22-2006, 05:56 PM I'm hearing that Jamaal Maglorie maybe going to denver

Very stupid trade. Now they have 4 point guards, Marbury, Rose, Nate, and now Francis. Magloire going to Denver makes no sense either especially since the Bucks are now a playoff team. I said before the season even started that the Bucks are going to make the playoffs because they have 2 great big men in Magloire and Bogut plus the addition of Bobby Simmons gives them some offense. The Knicks are just even more in financial trouble.

Well as of now, the Maglorie Thing is still a rumor
Brian Damage 02-22-2006, 07:59 PM Let's face facts, Q and Jamal Crawford suck. Maybe they'll unload Crawford somewhere. Steven A. Smith said that Denver had some mild interest.
moeee 02-22-2006, 08:09 PM The Knicks cannot be done trading. Where is Q and Crawford fit in this???
and what about Orlando? What the hell are they doing?

Clearing up a ton of cap room for the future, which will basically revolve around Dwight Howard.
Brian Damage 02-22-2006, 08:17 PM On his radio show today, Steven A. Smith said that when Steve Francis was asked where would he rather play, Denver or NY, Francis said I'd rather play in Orlando. lol

oh sh*t!
Crawford, J Rose, Francis, and Marbury all have to share the ball. Is that possible?
Dumballa 02-22-2006, 11:41 PM Who here thinks the Knicks are going too have close to a .500 win% with Francis and Marbury? With the roster as it is today they would still have to add four players with the intensity and desire of an Alonzo Mourning to even compete . Zo played 22 minutes tonight with 6P, 6R and 3blocks, but because of his tenacity on the glass and defense he had the biggest impact in the game for Miami.
Scoobiedoo30 02-23-2006, 11:30 AM The New Orlean Hornet's nevery did do a Trade yet
I think they have until Today to make a Trade
moeee 02-23-2006, 12:47 PM KG heading to NYC????
KG heading to NYC????
Don't count on it. If Isiah did it, the Knicks would be in financial trouble until LeBron James is in a wheelchair with Alzheimers.
isiahthomas 02-27-2006, 08:49 PM LOL@DJ hahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
