View Full Version : Clothes, accessories that don't look good on people...
Ireneparalegal 02-15-2006, 08:20 PM I have a thing abt men wearing birkenstock sandals. I have never seen any man that looked good wearing those. The only males I have seen that look good in them are baby boys, toddler boys, but that's it. Men shouldn't wear them, especially with socks and pants like in the pic I have here.
Also, women who wear those big-ass hoop earrings. What the hell is that all abt? Are they wanting an animal to jump thru the hoops?
Capri pants. I don't think they are attractive at all. Either wear shorts or pants, but nothing in between.
Those damn pointy women's shoes. How the hell can anyone, especially a woman, think those look good???? My man laughs whenever he sees a lady wearing those shoes because it's too damn pointy, narrow and it gives the appearance that your feet are SOOOOOOO HUGE. Your feet look like surfboards!
Obese ladies wearing SPANDEX!!!!! nuff said there!!!!
Those really really tiny running shorts that some guys wear.
Creepy.
;)
EmoJoe 02-15-2006, 08:26 PM I HATE THOSE EARRINGS A LOT
Janice 02-15-2006, 08:27 PM I hate this look.

Those sandals on are bad! They're exactly what I see 90 year old men wear if they can still walk. Young guys wear them too because they think it is cool, but it just makes them look like a geek.
Spandex on large women is VERY bad, especially when they bend over. When I used to go concerts a lot you would see these 350 lb women in bright shiny spandex pants and everybody in line would start snickering and whispering. You could see every zit on their butts in those pants. I had a nickname for those kind of pants. I called them the "Cross-Your-Heart" pants because they "lift and separate."
Mijada 02-15-2006, 08:28 PM I agree with pretty much everything you said. I don't mind sandals on guys though but why they would wear socks with them is beyond me. It's defeating the purpose imo.
I personally can't stand gold jewelry on men. A wedding band is fine but those big clunky gold chains are a big turn off for me as are crooked baseball caps and big baggy pants hanging off their ass. I can deal with that stuff on teenagers but on grown men who are beyond their high school years it just looks stupid.
I also dislike these jeans that some women wear that are so low at the hip that you can see what kind of underwear they have on. The short shorts are pretty bad too
Ireneparalegal 02-15-2006, 08:46 PM Oh God Janice- LMAO!!!!!!!
Seventies - pimples on their ass! lift and separate!!!!!
All of these posts so far have made me laugh, because I can visualize exactly what it is you are all describing!!!!!!!
Courtnee 02-15-2006, 10:25 PM i don't have a picture but at my school there is this trend of the strechy belts that have sequins on them. they look like they have a fish belt

I agree with the sandals and everything, but I LOVEE the pointy shoes. I think they look soo adorable. And I also love capri's. I wear them all the time in the spring.
Jo_Luvs_Ketchup 02-15-2006, 10:38 PM I hate when girls wear those awfully tight shirts and short skirts. Maybe I hate it cause I can't wear them  I also hate when guys where those baggy pants that go practically down to their ankles..gross!
Ireneparalegal 02-15-2006, 11:57 PM And why do guys wear their nice shirts out???? I am not talking abt overweight men, I am talking abt these guys that have no reason to leave their shirts out. It looks much nicer when they are tucked in.
Brieannas21 02-16-2006, 01:51 AM Low rise Jeans on women who know they have no business wearing them.
InspectorExstead 02-16-2006, 04:00 AM I cannot stand stiletto heals. Guys shorts that are worn below their butt....come on now, can you seriously walk like that? Lots of gold jewelry is annoying. And the whole cowboy boots trend...not very appealing.
Brent88 02-16-2006, 04:07 AM I don't understand why guys wear those UGLY birkenstocks either...
Those really really tiny running shorts that some guys wear.
Creepy.
You took the words right out of my mouth.
I hate this look.

Low rise Jeans on women who know they have no business wearing them.
You don't like that "muffin top" look?
;)

Oh i know huh? they have that gut protruding out on the sides, on the front, it looks like they are pregnant!!!! YUCK!!!!
Let me add those stupid "grills" that guys (and some girls too!! ) are putting on their teeth. That crap has been around for a long time, but still, that is FUGLY!!!! Who the hell would want to spend $$$$ on making their teeth have gold on them, when they should go to the dentist instead and make them clean, white and STRAIGHT!!!!!!!!! can u imagine how their breath stinks????????????:eek2: :faint: any appliance (or "grill") you put in your mouth will accumulate germs. That's why when one gets braces they have to take extra care in brushing, etc. because it causes extreme bad breath.
I noticed in school that a lot of overweight girls dress like they are going to the beach. Only certain people look good in beach clothing.
Polniaczek033 02-17-2006, 03:41 PM i agree with the tiny tiny pointy heeled shoes. i can't stand even looking at those.
i also agree with guys wearing their pants under neath their butts. it defeats the purpose of pants.
i don't understand the point of wearing a belt on pants that don't have belt loops, or not putting them through belt loops. and this double studded belt fad is getting annoying.
and guys wearing girl jeans. holy crap, emo ***s, stop.
Mysty Eyes 02-17-2006, 05:05 PM One style that has been around for years and which many, many people wear is the "faded jeans" look. If it is done well it is very subtle, and it usually looks okay. But most of the time it simply looks like someone put rubber gloves on, dipped their hands into bleach, and then rubbed the pants along the thighs, butt, whatever. It looks soooo phoney and so obviously NOT faded that I don't see the point of it all. And many of the poorly produced ones are laughable.
MsOrange 02-17-2006, 05:21 PM You don't like that "muffin top" look?
;)
 muffin top! i've never heard that before... good one.
*Pleasant Tomorrow* 02-17-2006, 06:21 PM Ugh, I hate the pointy shoes too. I guess they're good for kicking someone's ass, though.

OMG yes!!! I don't know what those people think when they wear them. they are so gross. I mean, really now, just like you said, it looks like bleach was used.
I am so glad to know that others feel the way I do abt the pointy pointy shoes...that look is so awful. I laugh whenever I see those. Women hate having big feet, why would they wear something that just makes them look huge?
Fonzarelli 02-17-2006, 07:17 PM I hate it when girls put their jeans into their boots. It just makes no sense and it looks real odd.
Pitooey 02-17-2006, 11:12 PM I hate it when girls put their jeans [i]into[/o] their boots. It just makes no sense and it looks real odd.
You would hate me then  I do it to show my nice boots. .
I HATE those grills too. Why do people mess up your mouth wearing that? It takes away from the person's real beauty. (Or in some cases NOT)!!!
lockdown06 02-18-2006, 02:02 AM anything goths wear, looks tacky to me.

I hate those with such a passion.
Another thing I cannot stand are those stupid belts with the names branded into the back of them. That might just be a southern old men trend, but they're these leather belts that people get their name burned into the back of. I see no point whatsoever in it.
And about the grills, I think they are mouthpieces that they get made for their teeth. Some guys at a school close to mine have them and they look different a lot of times, so I just assumed they were a mouthpiece. You can google search for gold teeth and find all kinds of removable teeth accessories.
