How old was Samantha when she had her imaginary friend Debbie Jo? I always thought she looked a little too old to have imaginary friends. I mean I can understand it if she was 6 years old, but Samantha was like 11 or 12 maybe??

This show screwed up the ages and schooling years of the girls big time. Season 1, Katie was taking the test for college, she didn't graduate until the end of season 3.


Julie was a Junior at Lincoln High, and didn't graduate until season 4, I think, because she and Jonathan wanted to go to college, but eloped at that time.


Sam, I think was a teenager, but Katie was like "Dad, do you have any 13 year old Police Women who wear braces" when she stole the squad car.



So in season 1...Sam= 14, Julie = 16 Katie= 18? I have no clue. Season 1 was really screwy with the girl's ages.


In season 3, Sam told Nell her friend Herbie was 14, her age.

In season 4, Sam told everyone she was 15 and a woman.

At the beginning of season 6 she was 17 going on 18

Katie was 18 in season 3, as it was mentioned when Nell found out James re-married a young girl.



They really screwed the ages up big time. So in Season 4, with every age mention, Katie was 18/19 and sam was 15, and Julie was 17? I dunno.
