LPBear 11-28-2000, 12:11 AM Without a doubt, my favorite character is Sylvia Schnauser! She was so "out there", considering it was the early '60s, and Charlotte Rae was 100 times funnier on "Car 54" than she ever was on "The Facts of Life". I loved the way she would look DIRECTLY into the camera maniacally delivering her lines! She was really funny and kind, and she was at times kind of cute and warm.
