View Full Version : How many times have you been suspended/sent to the office at school?
Michael [hXc] 02-14-2006, 09:31 PM i haven't been suspended ever :D but i did go to the office once for talking back to a teacher and not going to CTC (time out/Critical Thinking Center in my school), and once for making my ex girlfriend cry.
what about you guys?
gilligan fanatic 02-14-2006, 09:32 PM Never to either one :D
EmoJoe 02-14-2006, 09:33 PM today was my 1st lol
never suspended
Michael [hXc] 02-14-2006, 09:38 PM oh and i forgot another time. one of my best best best friends now thought i said something racist about her, so i had to talk to a counselor about it at school, but not the office. but that was before she was my friend. :p
Dutabi84 02-14-2006, 09:58 PM Got sent to the office...I think just once. For a total bull**** reason, no less.
Michael [hXc] 02-14-2006, 10:01 PM what was the reason?
Southern Hellraiser 02-14-2006, 10:01 PM I think about 2 times.
dawsongirl 02-14-2006, 10:33 PM I don't think so....I got sent to the counselor's office once, because my 5th grade teacher thought I was "disturbed."
EmoJoe 02-14-2006, 10:35 PM i haven't been suspended ever :D but i did go to the office once for talking back to a teacher and not going to CTC (time out/Critical Thinking Center in my school), and once for making my ex girlfriend cry.
is that like detention?
we get suspended if we skip detention
AllIWantIsYourClutch 02-14-2006, 10:46 PM Ummm. I went to the deans office once for having almost the limited number of absences in a semester (I had 8, the limit is 10).
Then I went the other day for some completely moronic reason. Basically, my school is full of idiots. I haven't been to study hall all semester because I'm a runner for this lady...I get called to the dean's office and I think its because I have like 20 unexcused absences from my study hall. No. I have 4 tardies from my study hall. I haven't been to my study hall to be tardy. To be tardy implies showing up late. I never came. But whatever. I got them cleared and I'm back to not going to study hall.
So. Yes, I've been to the office. No, I haven't been in trouble. No, I have never had a detention or gotten suspended.
Dutabi84 02-14-2006, 10:46 PM what was the reason?
I supposedly stole money from some kid that was getting picked on in gym class. 50 cents. Yeah right, I'm gonna steal 50 cents from some kid that dropped his change.
Jo_Luvs_Ketchup 02-14-2006, 10:54 PM I was in 1st grade and this girl kept picking on me and my sister. She was in 3rd grade. Finally I got fed up and I pushed her head into a tile wall (Don't worry, she didn't get hurt) and told her to leave us alone. Well, we never heard a word outta her again! I only pick fights with people now who make fun of my autistic brother. I feel they get what's coming to them! :D
*Pleasant Tomorrow* 02-14-2006, 10:57 PM Haha, never once. It's because I'm so quiet and figure what's the point in arguing if I don't agree, not worth the effort...
*Pleasant Tomorrow* 02-14-2006, 11:00 PM I don't think so....I got sent to the counselor's office once, because my 5th grade teacher thought I was "disturbed."
ooonncee in 7th grade I got called down to the main office where some lady from social services talked to me and it scared the **** out of me. My parents didn't know about it and I'd never been to the office before. I just recently got over being scared of that little phone that calls you down to the office whenever it rang.
Hollow 02-14-2006, 11:21 PM sent to office - i don't know how many times..but for tardies, skipping detention, verbal and physical fighting, dress code violations, cussing at the teacher, being disruptive in class, maybe a few other reasons.
suspended - once in seventh grade for being mean to my oh so poor, mistreated teacher. she deserved it.
in school suspension - about ten times so far, for pretty much the same reasons as getting sent to the office.
i came very close to being expelled in my eighth grade year just for a cumulation of things; if you get nine behavior notices there they expel you, and i was at seven or eight. that school was ******** anyway.
I was never sent to the office or suspended. Instead, they would have my mom come up to school about once every two weeks. I was always the center of attention.
robyrob 02-14-2006, 11:27 PM many times - i missed over 2 months in the 10th grade due to various suspensions i earned for a number of different things I did, including smoking, throwing things out windows (mostly books and furniture - no people), playing my guitar in school (with the music department's amplifier at full volume while locking myself in the music room), destruction of school property (mostly from pranks gone awry and random mischief), breaking into the vice principal's office (broke off his doorknob in the process too), building obstructions to the entrances to the teachers parking lot, leaving school during school hours, harrassing substitute teachers, and some other stuff I cant mention...
yet i still got mostly B's and A's and most of MY teachers liked me so it wasnt a problem.
seventies_sitcoms 02-14-2006, 11:30 PM Oh, I'm digging up ancient history here. Let's see, I didn't do it a lot, but I was sent to the office several times during junior and high school. Skipping classes and study hall, skipping detentions, late for homeroom attendance, and once for throwing a pencil across the classroom. I only did it because some *** threw it at me first and naturally the teacher saw me throwing it back so I was the bad guy.
I was even sent to the office for having a Fangoria magazine (you'd think it was a Playboy)in English class and once for playing my Vanity 6 tape on the boom box in the music room. I also got caught for skipping a stupid football assembly. A few kids and I also got a good talking to once for leaving the school grounds during lunchtime because we went to McDonalds. I also asked to use the restroom once near the end of a class once. Lunch was next and instead of going to the restroom I snuck into the darkened cafeteria to buy a Coke before they turned off the machine during lunch. I got caught by a teacher while walking out of the cafeteria. You were only allowed to buy juice or milk during lunch!!!!!
One of my friends was sent to the office once because of his t-shirt. There used to be a record label years ago called Stiff Records. He had one of their t-shirts on and the slogan was "If it isn't Stiff, it isn't worth a ****."
Oh, I was told by the principal once not to wear my leather jacket and boots to school. It was improper for 15 year old boys (this was 1985/86) to wear that stuff to school I was told.
I don't think I was too bad misbehaved.
Brad Russ 02-15-2006, 02:42 AM I was sent to the office alot, and was suspended a few times. I was kicked out of one school altogether in the 8th grade, and put into an alternative school, where I did very well.
PrettyinPink55 02-15-2006, 02:43 AM Never ever ever.
Superstar 02-15-2006, 04:33 AM never.
Michael [hXc] 02-15-2006, 08:29 AM is that like detention?
we get suspended if we skip detention
what they give a CTC (critical thinking center) for is if someone is disrupting a class, being rude, etc. and you get a little yellow paper you have to fill out in the hall, and it makes you write what you did wrong, then you have to go to detention the next day during lunch and if you don't, you get more detentions.
MsOrange 02-15-2006, 08:55 AM Critical Thinking Center?
anyway... i've been sent to the office a couple of times, but never suspended. I have ISS in middle school, and once in high school for exsessive absenses.

 I never would have guessed!

It was mostly due to skipping alot of school. I hated being in a class of 35 people, so I use to hide in the bushes until my parents left to work, then I'd go back home. I didn't get in trouble for fighting and things like that, it was mostly just for truency.

...was that some sort of freudian slip, or do you still have VD (Valentine's Day,of course, but it SHOULD be referred to as a disease) on the brain?

I hope it was just a freudian slip, or else I'd be really offended. Quote: "I just never would have kissed you." :( Why not?? I had fresh breath. LOL!! I'm just joking around of course, I know it was just a typo. ;)
Moonlight Lady 02-15-2006, 11:39 AM Just one time in 6th grade. I was being harassed in school and I got lectured on how I should "Ignore" the kids that were doing it. Kind of tough to ignore physical abuse.
I was glad when we moved to a better school district.

Dude111 02-23-2025, 01:48 PM I got sent to the office several times but not ever suspended.......
KurtfromPitts 02-26-2025, 11:43 AM Twice, both times in middle school. One for an incident I don't recall ever starting, and after sticking another kid with a pencil when he was verbally harassing me.
Dude111 02-26-2025, 12:24 PM Im sorry you had to go thru that........
ThisLittlePiggy 02-27-2025, 01:19 AM I never got suspended or sent to the office. The one and only time I did get into trouble was having to sit out in the hallway because I made a little girl cry. She bugged me. LOL
