If you were put in jail for one year and you had a TV with a DVD player, but you were only allowed one single disc of a show (that's already out), which would it be?

I'm leaning towards Disc 1 of "NewsRadio: Seasons 1 & 2".

That way, I'd get the first 10 episodes, most of which have commentary. I'd also get all the bonus features (Gag Reel, Featurette). Having the commentaries, I'd feel less alone, because it would be like I'm watching the show with my good friends.

What about you?

Tough one. I'd take Friends: Season 1- Disc 1 because it is my favourite show & those season 1 episodes are classic & I never get tired of them.

yeah, i'd pick a tough one too - one tough enough to hold up while I use it to tunnel my way OUT of there!

I'd get 5 great live-action episodes, 2 episodes of the cartoon, cast interviews and producer interview... all on one disc... yes folks, it's Punky Brewster Season 1 Disc 1. What value!

Frasier season 4 disc 1. or maybe golden girls season 3 disc 3. Can't decide between those two.

No matter which disc you choose, I'm sure you'd be sick to death of it during the year. lol.

Absolutely, there's no denying. But that disc would take the longest to get sick of.

You picked a good disc (since you like Punky Brewster). At least you'd have two different series on one disc along with the interviews.

I'd have a hard time with a disc if it didn't have either commentary of some other bonus feature. That way, I'd get a little variety from one show.

But my final choice was Cheers - Season 4 (Disc 4).... it doesn't include the best episode of the series (and not even the best episode on DVD), but collectively this is a strong bunch of 6 episodes.

So you didn't fall off the face of the earth. Did the stork ;) deliver the twins ;) ?
