Okay, so the freaking CREEPIEST THING just happened to me.
So, I've been cleaning my room today, heavy duty. Dusting, vaccuuming, etc.
I'm not a very dirty person, so it's not like my room is extremely dirty at all, just run of the mill stuff that everybody does. So anyway, I was dusting the stand for my CD player, and at the same time I'm getting rid of stuff too, so for the moment my room is pretty cluttered because I'm moving stuff around and putting stuff I don't want on the floor or on the bed for now.
So THEN...I put my hand to the side and felt something furry, and yelled out and looked and there was a DEAD $%#@$^ING MOUSE on my floor!! It looked pretty newly dead, too. I freaked the HELL out, especially after that moment of puzzlement when I tried to recall if my cat had any toy mice or not and realized this was the real deal.
I've never had mice in my house before, and I don't intend to start, either. The thing is, this is the LAST place I expected to find any mice at all, let alone a random dead one appearing out of NOWHERE in the middle of my bedroom floor!
So now I'm trying to clean my room in the fastest time possible but I can't get anything done because I'm freaked out over the possibility of finding another horror like this when I least expect it. I don't even know if I want to be in here at night now. If that mouse was here dead, then that means it must've been here alive too, and I'm frantically trying to figure out where it could've been staying and whether or not more could be here.
So...yeah, I dunno what I exactly expect you people to say, but I REALLY needed to share that.
And to top it off, as I was happily dusting, I started to think that when you really think about it, cleaning isn't so bad afterall because you have a goal in mind and it's nice when you reach it. I was starting to think cleaning could be kinda fun, and that I'd be able to get myself to have fun doing it from now on. Now, however, I think this has scarred me for life.
