For those of you who havent heard Passions is gonna be on Sci-fi channel. Starting Monday Feb 13th,It will air from episode and up. Its 9am 8am centeral time. So get the vcrs ready Passions fans :)

I'm so glad... I always thought the earlier years were the best. Looking at the first ep, it looks almost like an entirely different show.

I also am glad to see more of the original actors again... thats the one thing that bugged me about that show.

When Passions first began in '99, I never watched it, I started watching it about 3 or 4 years ago. But it's interesting watching the very beginning. I'm starting to understand the characters more and more, especially Gwen and Theresa. Gwen was sincere and honest. Theresa definitely had her head in the clouds. But because of Theresa, Gwen has gotten wiser and tougher. IMO, Theresa simply got worse over the years. I can't believe I'm saying this, especially since I'm a hardcore Gwen fan, but if Gwen hadn't pushed Ethan into meeting the locals of Harmony, they wouldn't have had the problems they've faced for the past 7 years now.

Then there's Jessica, has she always tormented Kay? The first Jessica was a little irritating and annoying, always giving Kay grief about anything and everything. JMO!!!!!

Seeing that the Sci-Fi Channel used to show old episodes of Dark Shadows, it makes sense they would show Passions, which seems to be a bit of an homage to the old-fashioned gothic vampire drama...

i'm sure glad it's on now. believe me, i have been around since the beginnig of this show. and i can see why this show sucks now, just by memory alone. but by watching these old episodes, i know even more that i am right when i say it sucks now.
what i miss about the original aspects of the show:
1. i misss the guy that played ethan. the guy dong it now is ok, but i just liked this guy better.
2. i love endora, but timmy was better. but, we can't help that josh ryan evans died.
3. the music. after 8 episodes now, how many different variations of 'beathe' have they played bits of, or even lengthly segments have they used? many. don't hear it now. all you hear now is the same scene music everyday. no new music, or different.
4. tabitha. when this show first started, tabitha was evil. remember, she killed fiath. she was not a good person. now they have her as the crazy lady next door that lets a neighors girl and baby live with her.
5. julain as an a**.
6. tabitha's hatred of the standish'es.
7. the girl palying kay now. while i like the current one (talk about a hot looking babe) the role was better i think at the beginning.
8. outdoor scenes. we never see any outdoor scenes. yeah, we see a park, outside crane masion, outside the lopez-fitsgerald house, but in the ealry episodes we saw the coastline, mountains, the ships, all kinds fo beautiful sights.
9. one day didn't last a month.

i just like the beginning better because they have ruined this show.

I've seen it a little bit with the Tabitha & Timmy segment in reruns. I usually watched it for a year, but now I don't really want to watch it again. That's why I gave up the show. But I flipped through the channels during my home visit and there was "Passions" from its first year. That is being shown on Sci-Fi. The current episodes of "Passions" is on channel 4 while the reruns is now on Sci-Fi. I don't know why Tabitha & Timmy is doing right now in the current episodes? Sci-Fi might have them.

well, after all this time the show has been on sci-fi, i am more willing to sit and watch it and not even care about the current stuff on NBC.
i watch this everyday. but i don't go out of my way to watch the current episodes. they are just pathetic in comparison.
i don't want it to be cancelled, but if they did, it wouldn't hurt me if NBC said 'no more' today and took it off the air tomorrow.

I haven't even watched the current episodes in many weeks. I'm more into the beginning episodes instead of the current crap on NBC. I'm loving the scenes with Tabitha and Timmy. I miss Timmy!

I still watch the shows on NBC I usually wait till the weekends to record Passions It gives me something to do when Iam bored and nothing on tv

Is Theresa still after Ethan? How long is this stupid storyline going to go on? I mean for godsakes it's been 7 years. Give Theresa a new storyline instead of always pining(sp) after Ethan. Let Gwen have Ethan and find Theresa a new man.

What Time does Passions air on Sci-Fi Channel

I'm assuming it depends on where you live. In the Eastern Time Zone it starts at 9:00 am. If you live in the Central Time Zone, I think it starts at 8:00 am. Other then that, I have no idea.

I'm liking the old episodes better then the new ones. I've only watched Passions for a few yrs. now and recently came across the old episodes on Sci-Fi. I'm starting to think it was better then, then it is now. I think it's time Theresa got over Ethan! It gets old when she's always trying to get him back! :rolleyes: That's like all she ever does! And now with trying to find that guy to prove Gwen and Rebecca blabbed to the tabloids. :rolleyes: I'm getting so sick of that! Especially the other day when she was all over the police office looking for him..I was like "Just give it up already, gesh!"
