I have always been puzzled as to why it is on the Jim Lange version of DG that the woman questioner had to sit on a stuffed, molded, button-tufted seat, while on occasions, when her male counterparts sat on what looked like a director's chair. What was the deal there?

Maybe because the men were taller while the women weren't and it was after all, a game show geared towards women!
