I know they don't do this anymore. But I thought it would be fun to discuss. Think back to Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, The Brady Bunch and Gilligan's Island, all of which had Saturday morning cartoons made of them.

Forman & Friends(Based on "That 70's Show") - It would feature the group when they were younger. Because it's the continuity would not follow the series, Fez would be there. There are no couples in the group, yet. The gang just has fun being kids in the late 60's/early 70's. Red, Kitty, and a mean (not slutty) Laurie would also be there along with Bob and Midge Pinciotti.

The Heffernans - Doug, Carrie and Arthur become masters to a genie, who takes them all over the world, even to different times and dimensions.

Monk - A cartoon, featuring non murder stories (since it would be for kids). Monk, along with Stottlemeyer, Disher and Natalie/Sharona all appear. Natalie and Sharona alternate episodes.

Hmm .... I think CHARMED might lend itself well to animation. I can't really think
of any other current shows.

Somewhat off-topic: I also miss the many comic-book adaptations of popular
TV shows. In the sixties, Dell and Gold Key published adaptations of nearly
every hit TV show (and even some that weren't hits). I still collect those. It
would be interesting today to see comic book versions of KING OF THE HILL, CHARMED, THE KING OF QUEENS, SUPERNATURAL, GHOST WHISPERER, and REBA.

Ahhh the good old days- cartoons based on tv characters.

My favorite was Mork and Mindy.

Out of all the shows of the late- I can say two stand out to me-

One, Titus- along the way of the same kind of "god the devil and bob humor" obviouslly fit for more adult consumption, but I would definately see that faster than tuning in Ace Ventura.

And the other is mythbusters.

Come on.....it would be hilarious.

One I always thought would have been great was Bosom Buddies tho.
