Season 2 was so good i wanted more. Has there been any news on season 3 yet? Seeing as there was a long wait for S2, i hope it releases sooner (about the summer of 06 or close to that).

I'm wondering with the impending release of Facts Of Life, that maybe we'll see season 3 on the same date. It would kinda be fitting because then, both shows will be caught up to the 1980-1981 season.

It'll be interesting to see if Sony will do a quick turn around for the Diff'rent Strokes S3 DVD and pair it with the first two seasons of Facts of Life in May.

have you heard anything from Sony about season 2 and sales? I know season 1 performed below expectations but I am thinking with s2 out on the market, sales would start picking up for both sets since I'm sure there's a number of people who weren't going to buy season 1 until they knew more seasons were coming. And both Circuit City and Meijer had great sales on DS last week. I am thinking/hoping this could be like The Jeffersons and Mary Tyler Moore where it started out very slowly but eventually sales began to pick up. I'm not too worried about FOL's sales because FOL fans seem to be more devoted but with DS, I am still keeping my fingers crossed for more sets.

Hopefully the S2 sets are selling well. I didn't even buy Season 1 (and I'm a HUGE fan of the show) until I saw S2 was coming out. Not saying that's the case for everyone but a lot of people are like that. Mostly it was because I can't afford all these damn releases, LOL, but eh... Heh.

Hopefully we see S3 and FOL S1/S2 paired together.

I bought DS S2 off of amazon and I was watching the rank. It never got above 500 compared to Growing Pains which made it to 30 something I believe. I know Amazon is only one outlet for sales so hopefully it sold and is selling better in stores.
