Sarah was really pretty the first couple seasons of Buffy until she discovered eating disorders. Same with Jennifer Aniston, she was real pretty the first couple years of Friends before she really became skin and bones.

Girls: Paris Hilton (GROSS inside and out), Sara Michelle Gellar (too thin), Angelina Jolie (never really found her as hot as some people do), and I tend to agree with Jennifer Aniston. She was a pretty girl in her earlier days (with some curves and her innocent face), but she loses her appeal the more she thins out.

I agree about Sarah. I remember seeing "I Know What you Did Last Summer" when she actually still had a figure. Then, the later episodes of "Buffy" and "Cruel Intentions" came and she just looked way too skinny from there on.

I didn't see the first episodes of "Friends". I saw a few of the later ones in re-runs and Jennifer does look too skinny in those episodes. Courtney Cox looks too skinny, too.

Shia Labeauf. He looked okay in Disturbia but with that horrible guido/greaser hairstyle he has unsuccessfully been trying to sport, someone needs to point out to him that he's Jewish, not Italian. I also really dislike his attitude. I mean, I'm no fan of original Disney programming either, but Even Stevens got his career rolling, and now he refuses to discuss his Disney past with a Gary Coleman type of attitude. Granted, I can understand why he doesn't want to be eternally 14 (and guess what Shia, you're not!!! Transformers and the upcoming Indiana Jones movies will ensure that middle America won't think of Even Stevens when they think of you), but to totally deny the role that initially made you popular is ungrateful.

Actually, I just read a magazine article in LATINA where Alba says all those reports of her saying she hates her heritage are false. If anything, she is ashamed she can't speak spanish. She is going to teach spanish to her child when the baby is old enough to understand. She also said her father was embarrassed beyond belief when comedian George Lopez was talking spanish to him and he didn't understand a word he said.

BTW, my daughter's history teacher at her private high school (abt 5 years ago) is Jessica Alba's uncle. He told my daughter that all those rumors abt Jessica are false and she couldn't be more proud of her heritage.

Really because I was really ticked off at her because like Alba, i'm of an Hispanic(Cuban/Mexican) and white(Russian/French) background and was sad and angry that she would say those things. I learned to love both of my parents races, I'm sorry, I should have read more into it.

Hey it happens. I thought the same thing. Being hispanic myself I was shocked that anyone would say that abt themself like that. I should have known better. :wallbang: Then I read the article and I realized there is no way she would say such things especially in this society where everything is scrutinized and harped on. She hates the papparrazi and has made that very clear, so I guess their way of getting back is flooding the gossip mill with stupid remarks that Jessica supposedly said.

speaking of Alba, I find it hilarious that Perez has an axe to grind with her, but Trent (another celeb blogger, basically a "nicer" Perez) loves her. Unlike Perez, Trent actually looks Hispanic and he doesn't go on and on about what a race traitor she is, but Perez keeps bashing her because she doesn't want to be known as a J. Lo/Gloria Estefan type "spokesperson for the community" (kinda like how Jodie Foster gets bashed because she doesn't want to be Rosie or Ellen), and the funny thing is, as Cuban as he says he is, he looks white to me. Trent actually looks Hispanic.

Jessica is not a race traitor. But like her father, she is embarrassed that she wasn't taught spanish when she was young. She feels like she should be able to speak spanish so when she visits Mexico for business or pleasure she can speak the language. It is a double edged sword. She can be too hispanic at times but when she is in Mexico she is considered too anglo. She can't win either way at times.

^well, at least she seems genuine about it. As opposed to Christina Aguilera, who is only a quarter Hispanic (or I think she might be even less than that) and never spoke a word of Spanish or even saw her father (where she got the genes from) after she was three or four, but she was sure to jump on the "I'm a proud Latina woman!!" bandwagon when Ricky Martin was selling a lot of records and did a Spanish record and collaborated with Spanish artists. Then by 2001-2002 when the huge Spanish/English wave began to die out, Christina suddenly distanced herself from all Latin ties she ever had and never tried to record in Spanish again or even acknoledge she even had Spanish blood in her, because it wasn't "trendy" like it was in 1999-2000. I think what people like Perez hold against Jessica, they should hold for Christina instead. Because she basically used the fact she had slight Hispanic blood in her to capitalize on the fame Ricky Martin and Enrique Iglesias and everyone was having in the English market at the time, and as soon as they fell off the radar, so did Christina's "proud heritage" :rolleyes:
