Stupidest holiday ever created. $90 on flowers that will die in a few days. Girls, if your boyfriend/husband gets you something, make sure you give something in return. Some(not all) think its just a day for the females to be spoiled.. well if we're spending all this money on flowers at least get us a 12 pack or something. How I miss being single.

I got some the 27th and only have two left of the....well, I didn't count them. Oops. But I got a teddy bear with it, and that'll last forever. :) But he better not have spent $90. I'm not worth $90.

I looooooooooove Valentine's Day. I've always thought it was such a great, special day and it's even better now that I'm engaged. Nothing with me and my girl is one sided, though; we always both do special things for eachother, it's never just always one of us doing stuff for the other.

I like Valentine's day.:) I think it can be a nice holiday as long as you don't get too swept up in all the hoopla.

I personally hate getting flowers period. I've never been much of a flower person, so if I did have a sweetie on V-day, I'd rather have a teddy bear or something...you know, something that won't die in a few days from lack of care.

I do agree with that somewhat. I use to date a girl that always expected something for Valentine's Day. The bigger the better in her case. The payback was always S_E_X That was fine and dandy, but she is still getting something out of that deal. I think Valentine's Day should be a mutual thing. My wife and I don't go crazy on each other anymore. My little girls are the ones who get spoiled now.

I used to like Valentines day as a kid. Passing out the cards and candy at school, but now it is just a Hallmark holiday. My boyfriend and I get each other a card and/or candy but that is it.

Hallmark has some pretty cool cards though, you gotta admit.
