I do.

I miss the days when you couldn't wait to get up early Saturaday Mornings to watch your favorite shows on ABC, NBC, CBS and later FOX.

Anyone feel this way?

Hmm ... no, not really. Oh, I can relate to what you're saying. Speaking as a
person who grew up in that era of the "Golden Age of Television" (I was born in
1947 so I was ten years old when RUFF & REDDY debuted on NBC), I actually
think we have it better today: with a VCR or DVD player, EVERY day can be
"Saturday morning." And, if someone told me fifty years ago that there would
be three TV networks (Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Toon Disney) showing nothing but cartoons, I would've shook my head, rolled my eyes and
said "Yeah ... riiiiiight!!"

Yea. I really miss those days. I use to get up at about 7. They use to give so many good shows that were worth watching. Most of today's shows aren't as good as the old ones.

Yeah me too. I used to get early in the morning to catch all my favortie cartoons. Those were the good ol' days and now most of the cartoons that are on are not as good as the older ones. :angryfire

i miss it too there was nothing more exciting then getting up it 6 or 7 oclock in the morning knowing you had a whole morning and half an afternoon of cartoons to look forword too one werid thing about me is that on saturday morning i still find myself waking up at 6 or 7 in the morning even though the cartoon watching days are long gone

I was a kid in the 70's and YOU HAD TO GET UP EARLY ON SATURDAY MORNING, or else you would never see cartoons! That was fun though, you knew you didn't have school and you could sit there for hours and watch "your shows", lol. Kids these days can watch the 24 hour cartoon stations, or their VHS tapes or DVD's. They didn't have it "tough" like us, LOL.

That was true for us kids in the late 50s, too (only there were even fewer
choices back then)!

Growing up as a child in the late 80's & 90's... I do miss waking up to cartoons. I used to watch TGIF on ABC on Friday's then after that I'd get ready for bed & set my clock for 5:00 A.M in the morning. I'd get up so early with my sister to watch cartoons. It seemed like cartoons would be on every station you could choose from. Man I miss those days.... Everything is not the same :( .
