Look,I don't want to go into a rant,but I have spent all of this week trying to redeem my Border's Gift Card to buy a few things off of this "wonderful" internet,and boy let me tell you folks out here,it's like going to hell,and never coming back.I just want to know one thing;why do they need my credit card and/or bank account imformation just to redeem a gift card?!?Can someone truely explain to me the method behind that madness?!?Now I undrestand if you go over your gift card limit they might need more imformation,but they(the they being amazon.com)should know that a person would know not to go over his/her gift card limit.My theory;I beleive that the :cuss: is selling that imformation,or setting someone up to get their identidy stolen cause as you know whenever you give out such sensetive imformation(like credit card numbers,and/or check account numbers),no mater how safe they say it is,there is always that chance that that site can be crash into,and before you know it,good-bye good credit!And what would their excuse would be?To throw their hands into the air and say "we're sorry",and being sorry won't get your good name back.Why put people through so much hell?Why not for those like me that dosen't have credit cards of bank accounts make it easy for me to get the things I want?!Or for people whom have them,but just doesn't want to give out that type of imformation?!?I think it's time to "rage against the machine" and put such companies on notice,and go back to the old saying "the costermer is always right!"Any opinoins on this rant?!?:soapbox:
