Any comments on this channel. As of late it is becoming worthless like every other network on tv. They are really getting away from the classics.:(

They've been showing about 4 or 5 newer cartoons (Dexter's Laboratory, Duck Dodgers, What's New Scooby Doo?, etc.) each twice a day which has been eating up much of the line-up and cutting the classic cartoons down dramatically here lately. Looney Tunes isn't even on regularly right now. However, on a good note - I have noticed that starting Monday, Hanna-Barbara's "All Star Laff-a-Lympics" returns to the weekday line-up for the next few weeks while the Winter Olympics are taking place. It will air weekdays at 3:30pm :cool: I always rooted for the Yogi Yahooeys lol

That was the team I always rooted for too.

As far as Boomerang, the good thing is we're getting some of that old stuff on dvd. Between Wacky Races, Huckleberry Hound, Yogi Bear, Top Cat, etc. When they come out with Magilla Gorilla I'll really be happy.

Yeah they show some newer stuff once in awhile, but at least it's not constantly, and it hasn't taken over the whole network :)

They also took off "Underdog" and "Josie and the Pussycats", but I think they will eventually bring them back. I wish they would hook us up with some Fat Albert reruns though.

Yeah they might bring them back. Maybe they used up the alloted amount of air times for those shows' episodes

I have DirecTV and get Boomerang, along with my local channels, for just a few
dollars more than the basic package. It's worth it.

Boomerang is airing He-Man this week at 11:30 PM, not sure if it's a permanent addition or not

I don't have Boomerring:mad: :mad: :mad: ,but if it's anything like Cartoon Network,I bet you all the classics will soon be gone,replace by all of those "fly-by-night" cartoons they did in the mid to late 90's,early 2000's;better yet,they will start doing originals just to get the 18-24 year old group.

I don't have 'Boomerang' per se but I have Boomerang On-Demand through my cable provider (Comcast) and provides a list of classic cartoons each week. Hopefully, I'll get the channel one of these days. :)

I keep forgetting that I have Boomerang-lol I wish they show Looney Toons. All I see is the Jetsons, Flinstones, and Scooby Doo

Re both TV Land and Boomerang: if I were in charge of programming, I'd set a
cut-off date for shows on both networks. I think each of these channels should
be a haven for classic TV shows (as they both started out to be). I think that
shows made before, say, 1980 should be on TV Land or Boomerang. Shows
that aired after 1980 should be aired on either Nick at Nite or Cartoon Network.
A "classic" -- whether cartoon or live-action -- should, in my opinion, be at
least 25 years old. That's what a classic is: something that has stood the
test of time.

TVLAND? Why would they air cartoons? They're not a classic cartoon network, neither is Nick at Nite.
