Better Days 02-07-2006, 03:40 AM Ooo I....knew it every day of my life
Someday it would stand in the light, and shine
If they can't see it now, then the
world must be blind
And we, believed with every part of our heart
that if we made a wish on a star
It'd come true
Well it might be a shade overdue......
But THIS IS THE DAY

barb1686 02-07-2006, 06:38 PM I love my box set...I'm currently on disc 3, but I watched all the special features first. Love the special features...I wish there were more bloopers or commentary but I really have no room to complain, because it's more than what most shows have. The discs menu's could be a bit more creative, but they'll work.
I love this show, it's been years since I've seen the show and now I get to have them for forever. I just can't wait for the middle seasons. :D
Better Days 02-07-2006, 09:27 PM I've been checking the Amazon Sales Rank the last 3 days.
Feb 5 - it was #154
Feb 6 - #184 - monday
Feb 7 - #111 - Most people are hearing about the release for the 1st time from Store ads in the paper. It was on the front of Circuit City's ads.
Then by mid-day it made it to 97 :clap
And now(early evening) it's at 87!
I don't know what rank would be impressive for GP. Input, anyone?
An 80s Guy 02-07-2006, 09:57 PM I'm gonna buy it tomorrow i haven't had chance to get to the stores today and it's late to leave right now
folbartman 02-07-2006, 11:38 PM watching it now. Still very entertaining. God --- Maggie and Jason are horn balls in that first episode. I think it's all great though. I forgot how old this show is, the set is very 80's and not as modern as I thought of it.
I also forgot how the first theme looked, sounded. Very simple, and it kinda reminds me of the cheers opening.
Well better get back to watch more..
Adios
vashti1999 02-08-2006, 01:04 PM I've made it through the first disc so far, watched the unaired scenes of the original pilot. Gotta say, I'm glad they replaced the girl who played Carol, she looked a bit too ultra-nerd. Even with the glasses on, Tracey Gold never came off quite as geeky as that other girl was in the pilot.
An 80s Guy 02-08-2006, 06:26 PM just got mine ain't had a chance to watch it yet

Totally agreed...and NO personality.
By the way, I finished all of mine. Now I want the other seasons hahaha
trav246 02-18-2006, 12:21 AM Just got my DVD's today.
First of all, I just like to mention that coming from New Zealand, I thought that the delivery was outstanding. It arrived in less than a week from when I ordered them :)
Second, the DVD's are exceptional. I have to agree with the DVD layout, as it is quite hard to get to them, but that's okay. I knew that they would be unedited, but everything from what I remember is all there.
I'm currently up to the third disc, and am looking forward to more special features.
McFly121 02-20-2006, 01:43 AM Speaking of that song, I've been looking for years to find it. Great sort of celebration/accomplishment song.
That was the one thing I didn't buy, that Jason and Maggie were still that hot for each other after almost 20 years. Don't see too many real-life couples like that. But like the E! THS said, Thicke and Kerns were both single at the time, and had a bit of a crush, so that helped.
Liption, that is the first Mr. Belvedere avatar I've ever seen :). Rock on!
