I lost a lot of respect for one of my friends last night when he was venting at me about how mad he was at one of his "friends", and instead of just the usually complaining, he actually brought in that he thought the guys children look like Garbage Pail Kids to me, and IMO, that just completely goes into bad taste.
My friend is 38, so it's not like he's some 12 year old, to actually start insulting someones children because you're mad at the parent really is not an honorable thing and I am sure that if they were his kids who were being insulted, he'd want to kill the other person.
What's your take on this? I think it's sad to bring 4 and 11 year old children into a discussion when you're venting about the father.

It's really stupid, it shows a huge lack of intelligence on his part.

I agree; I don't think that was necessary at all and it was very rude. Did you tell him what you thought of it?

your title of your thread threw me for a loop. i thought it was going to be abt two parents arguing and dragging their kids into the argument with them.
anyhow, that is downright disgusting for anyone to say abt any child...

Yeah, I agree with everyone else, I think that's REALLY wrong and unnecessary. Not to mention low.

That's completely unnecessary and makes him look like an unintelligent creep.

I was thinking the same thing.
I agree with everyone else. It's utterly ridiculous to bring it to that level.

He apparently had no better argument that that. Which is always a good sign to just stop arguing.
Sounds like a "stick-your-foot-in-your-mouth" moment.

sounds like he just got upset and was clutching at straws. Probably didnt' mean it, but was still a rotten thing to say.
