Well obviously if I was rooting for Seattle I'm not happy, but they already beat my team. I was more upset then than now.

After what happened at the end of the first half I figured Pittsburgh would win. I don't really care one way or another about Seattle, I just didn't like Pittsburgh. Stop calling people out! I am not a Seahawks fan, but I was going for them. The referees took the game from Seattle. They clearly outplayed the Steelers, especially in the first half. Everytime Seattle drove and got a first and 10, the refs called a bullsh*it call. Seattle wasn't holding! It is clear that the league and politics didn't want the Seahawks to win. I will tell you what Solomon, you heckler, the Steelers have to be the most unimpressive superbowl champions I have ever seen.

I have to somewhat disagree with that statement because the Steelers went to three hostile environments and beat them all. They played sloppy in the Super Bowl, but overall, they deserved this championship.

I am going to say this one last time! Yes, the Steelers were impressive against the Colts and the Broncos, but this game here, the officials bailed them out. I am just calling it from a neutral point of view. The Seahawks did blow some opportunities, but they had momentum, and everytime they could have taken the lead, the officials found some way to overrule it, and give the ball back to the Steelers. Cased closed!

The officials should have stayed out of it. You shouldn't have them dictating momentum in a SB Game. On the other hand The Seahawks let the Steelers hang around to long. I knew at halftime what was going to happen. I get the Steeler games a lot down here so I know how they are. You need to put them away fast and The Seahawks couldn't. And God they had some awful clock management in that game. They should have had a chance for a TD or a much shorter FG right before halftime but they just wasted time.

Honestly, I think your reasoning is weak. Yes, I'm sure deep down the NFL wanted the Steelers to win because they are somehat of a national team like the Cowboys, but I seriously doubt the referees purposely blew calls to help the Steelers win. Case Closed!

Detroit, MI (Sports Network) - Pittsburgh running back Jerome Bettis announced his retirement after the Steelers beat the Seattle Seahawks, 21-10, in Super Bowl XL at Ford Field.

Bettis, a Detroit native, called it quits after 13 NFL seasons. He rushed 14 times for 43 yards in the Super Bowl.

"It's been an incredible ride and there's always a time when you have to call it quits," Bettis said. "I played this game to win a championship. I'm a champion and I think the Bus...the last time is here in Detroit."

If that were true, they wouldn't have overturned that called fumble by Hasslebeck. Also, if I'm not mistaken, didn't the Steelers get the short end of a botched interception call against the Colts?

Even Sean Salsbury and John Madden were saying on Seattle's behalf, "I didn't see any holding" Stevie Wonder was in attendance and he could see that there wasn't any holding. LOL

I'm here too. Yes, I am disappointed but I can say congrats to the Steelers who played a much better game of football than Seattle did last night.
