Bonet leave "A Different World"?

Because she was pregnant with Lenny Kravitz's baby and decided to leave. From what I understand she went back on the Cosby Show and was written off saying that Denise went to Africa or something. As you know she later came back to the Cosby Show married to Martin and raising her step daughter Olivia.

I heard a slightly different version of events. I was under the impression that the producers of A Different World were angry at Lisa cos she never turned up for work in time and she would often just not bother showing up at all. They were on the verge of fireing her and then they found out she was pregnant. She got told to leave the show and they wrote her out.

Lisa should have been more responsible for herself. She could have still had her job. It was her fault IMO.
