View Full Version : The Super Bowl Game Thread - Seattle vs Pittsburgh TVFactFan 02-05-2006, 07:25 PM Well the seahawks won the coin toss and I'm glad because I can see how this Steelers Defense looks very early. GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TVFactFan 02-05-2006, 08:09 PM The Steelers look like ASS. Defense look like sh*T. IBig Ben is 1 for 5 and the Steelers Offense has been three and out THREE TIMES. Seattle hangs on to a 3-0 lead gilligan fanatic 02-05-2006, 08:59 PM Halftime 7-3 Steelers Winning! They can keep this up. Mr. Television 02-05-2006, 09:04 PM Good game so far. The Seahawks totally screwed up that last drive before halftime. dlemond 02-05-2006, 09:33 PM Good game so far. The Seahawks totally screwed up that last drive before halftime. That was idiotic. Almost made me lose total respect for the Seahawks. They were certainly putting together decent drives, they just have to complete what they start. game break ---Oops, touchdown Pitt. Game is completely different now. Pitt 14 Sea 3 dlemond 02-05-2006, 09:44 PM Again Seattle drives and Holmgren f-s it up. End up missing a 50 yard field goal. Pitt ball at the 40. TVFactFan 02-05-2006, 09:53 PM Big Ben can look like Joe Montana at times and other times he look like a D*chead. Damm I thought the Game was going to be put away and this ******* throws a PICK on the Goaline TVFactFan 02-05-2006, 10:17 PM I won't be surprised if Seattle wins this game. They are right in it at the start of the 4th down 4. Big Ben may have cost his team a SB title. TVFactFan 02-05-2006, 10:30 PM Steelers 21-10!!!!! Mr. Television 02-05-2006, 11:12 PM Seattle had their chances in the first half and couldn't do anything with it. You don't leave a team like Pittsburgh around like that. It was at least a close game most of the way but I thought it was kind of sloppy. Ireneparalegal 02-05-2006, 11:14 PM this game bored me most of the time. I expected more outta Seattle, but, in the end, it doesn't matter because I am a Dallas Fan. TVFactFan 02-05-2006, 11:18 PM Hines Ward is the Superbowl MVP Mr. Television 02-05-2006, 11:22 PM Hines Ward is the Superbowl MVP I figured Parker or Randall L would win it. gilligan fanatic 02-05-2006, 11:31 PM Steelers: Superbowl Champs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D:D :D :D If you can't tell I am very happy. Mr. Television 02-05-2006, 11:34 PM Steelers: Superbowl Champs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D:D :D :D If you can't tell I am very happy. I didn't root for them but congratulations. I know how great you have to feel. :D Brian Damage 02-05-2006, 11:34 PM First of all, Rothlisberger didn't score a TD from the 1 yard line. That was a bad call. Second of all, nobody deserved the MVP because nobody on either team played all that great. bandito 02-06-2006, 12:21 AM First of all, Rothlisberger didn't score a TD from the 1 yard line. That was a bad call. Second of all, nobody deserved the MVP because nobody on either team played all that great.I agree, I didn't think that was a TD either. Another bad call was the Hasselback fumble IMO that was a fumble. I know it's not possible but The whole Defense should have gotten the MVP, holding Seattle to 10 points is a feat in it's self. Chain Gang Member 02-06-2006, 08:59 AM IF THEY WERE HAVE GONE WITH A FIELD GOAL AND MADE IT,THEN I WOULD'VE WON $50! lockdown06 02-06-2006, 02:14 PM Where did the ref's get their officiating licenses?????? Cracker jack box??? I didn't root for either team, but the refs called a terrible game. "The push-off" was going both ways. Ben's TD wasn't a TD. Holding call after holding call. But at least they sucked consistently. Chain Gang Member 02-06-2006, 02:33 PM Where did the ref's get their officiating licenses?????? Cracker jack box??? I didn't root for either team, but the refs called a terrible game. "The push-off" was going both ways. Ben's TD wasn't a TD. Holding call after holding call. But at least they sucked consistently. I agree.I may have rooted for the Steelers, but that TD wasn't a TD Fez619 02-07-2006, 10:06 PM It was a touchdown. The ball doesn't have to touch the line, all it has to do is cross, whether that be on the ground, before your knee, or elbow touches, or in the air. The ball crossed the line in the air, barely, very, very, very, very slightly, but it crossed, not for long, but it still crossed. While, there were some officiating problems, I don't think it was as bad, as many are making it out to be. There were a lot of calls that could of gone, either way. Though, the one where Matt Hasselback threw the interception then got flagged on his tackle, was terrible. I admit that, it was a very bad call. gilligan fanatic 02-08-2006, 07:41 PM I honestly didn't think Pittsburgh made that first touchdown. After seeing this picture I got from ESPN, it really looks like it is in. http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d62/gilliganfanatic/SB29302060114.jpg |
