Ok, I know Agent13 & I are BIG forensics buffs...but what with the popularity of the various CSI's (original, Miami, NY, NCIS, etc), I don't understand why more people are not interested in the REAL forensic type shows such as Forensic Files, Body of Evidence, American Justice, City Confidential, FBI FIles, The New Detectives, blah, blah, blah. Some of these were in existence before the original CSI (such as the Bill Kurtis productions of American Justice & Cold Case Files).
SO...if you're a fan of the CSI network type shows & have seen any of these others (normally broadcast on A&E, Biography Channel, Discovery Channel, etc), why is it that the shows based upon real events (apparently) are not as interesting as the fictional stories (which are sometimes based upon real events)????
(I guess I always figured the truth is more interesting that fiction, but that does not seem to be the case with these type shows!)
