I'm just curious if anyone likes Logan. I personally think that he is the worst character ever thought up by anyone ever. I mean, just look at his first appearance in Written in the Stars. He acts like a complete ******* and gets the girl and poor Marty gets shafted from the show. And he has such a horrible effect on Rory... I hate her when she's around him.

Is Logan really intended to be a likeable character? I don't understand.

Hmmm... I like Logan. Maybe it's because he's such a breath of fresh air from Dean. Not that I didn't like Dean...it's just that after a while, their relationship got boring. But out of all of Rory's love interests, I prefer Jess. Jess was the best! I want them to end up together, but I don't think that'll happen.

As for Logan...yes, he does act really spoiled and uppity at times. But he's got this weird charm I can't explain. Something about his personality, I guess.
Logan does have some redeeming qualities though. I think that he's just really learning how to be in a real relationship. I mean this was his first real relationship (besides with Alyssa Milano lol) He's got a lot to learn. And I think he is learning a lot, slowly.
I liked Marty, but I didn't like him as a love interest for Rory.

I can't stand Logan. Especially in the beginning of season 5 and right now during season 6, he just seems so spoiled and bratty. But like Neha said, his and Rory's relationship was refreshing, Dean and Rory's relationship got stale and so did Rory and Jess's.

Amy has said that she's trying to bring Marty back into the show, so hopefully him and Rory will start dating. One of the main reasons that I liked Marty was that he was always kind and good to Rory, but Jess and Logan treat her like dirt sometimes.

Yeah, I guess he has, but I can't forget how he treated Rory in season 3, so I'd like him but I don't eant Rory to be with him.

I've always liked the character.

Rory's opinion of people of wealth was inherited from her Mom - they're mean and can't be trusted. Logan showed her that all rich boys aren't evil.

Logan's conflicts with his family are also what make him interesting. He doesn't want to be a "HuntzBerger," but he has no idea what he wants to do with his life, yet he doesn't mind all the perks (limos, private jets) that come with his famous name.
Now that he's trying to redeem himself with Rory, maybe we'll see more of a human side to him rather than the boozing angry guy that we saw when Jess made his return.

I like his charector. He makes the show interesting. He's not a great match for Rory though. It is nice to get a break from Dean. I thought he was boring and the didn't have a lot of chemistry. Jess was my favorite love interest for Rory.

I also feel that Logan is supposed to be a likeable character, but I just don't get it. Even when he's trying hard to be as sweet as possible, and makes Rory happy, I feel there's something not quite right about him.

Maybe I'm just comparing him to Jess, he and Rory were really drawn to eachother, against all odds and all that.

at first i thought he was too jerky, but he has really grown on me. and i think he fits well with rory's character as she has been maturing in the past couple of seasons.
i think they are going to have to stir things up a bit this season though...wonder who they will throw in the mix now that he is in london?!

I can't stand Logan. He's a complete jerk and an idiot imo :lol: Him and Rory are going to continue their relationship long distance I think.

I am so torn about Logan. Sometimes I like him, sometimes I want to kick him in the head.

I think it's because I think that I view Logan as being that guy who would have been perfect for Rory to date casually, no strings, no true love forever type (I think she desperately needs to do that at some point in her life, she's pretty much a serial monogamist, which isn't a bad thing, but you should date around when you're young.) I think Logan would have been perfect as a casual boyfriend. I like him okay, now, I guess - but...I don't know. I don't think he's "it" for Rory either (even though I did finally like them together a little bit in this year's season finale.)

he grew on me quickly...maybe it's because i seem to like bad-boy types, which isn't the greatest thing but i think he gets her and doesn't make her be something that she's not and vice-versa...

even though they alluded them to do long-distance next season i don't see how this will work...so something is going to have to change.

I don't hate Logan anymore - he's grown on me that much. But I would like to see Rory be on her own for a while, she's in college, it's time to figure out who she is, herself, as a grownup now, and how to support herself emotionally without a man, which she hasn't had to do much (outside of a few random dates, she pretty much went from Dean to Jess back to Dean to Logan). I'd like to see her just...I don't know, be a college girl for a while, because I think we've lost some of the "Old" Rory if that makes senase

makes sense...but it seems like whenever a show goes without somekind of love interest for a while, then the audicence starts to get a little bored...

:confused: i don't know i've never really liked Rory's choice's of guy's i think that she needs to have a little bit more taste in guy's! but whatever! i guess the reason i don't really much care for Logan is that he "cheated" on Rory and she just forgave him...although i think Logan has tried to be a better boyfriend to her i mean i do think that he actually cares about Rory but hey i don't care just as long as he keeps treating her ok then i'm fine with him!
