Was he ever featured on UM? Below are some links about him and "Sharon Marshall," who was kidnapped, raised as his daughter, and later became his wife and a mother. Sadly, Sharon was killed and her son, Michael, was kidnapped years later. Michael is still missing today and is probably dead. :(

Yes. If you do a forum search, he is mentioned in several threads. The mystery of Sharon Marshall's true identity is truly one of the most baffling and heartbreaking stories ever featured on UM.

This poor girl was somebody's daughter. I'm not buying Floyd's story that she was abandoned and he (out of the kindness of his heart, no doubt) took her to raise as his own. It is so frustrating that her true identity remains a mystery after all these years.
Has this case ever been profiled on any other shows?
Thanks for the links, Tap Dancer!

I'm not sure if its been profiled on any other shows but there is a very good book about the case of Sharon Marshall, Franklin Floyd and Michael Hughes that I highly recommend. Its called "A Beautiful Child" and the author is Matt Birkbeck.

You're welcome, rerungirl. :) I just happened to see the story mentioned on another website. I had no idea it was featured on UM.
It's hard to believe that the woman's parents hadn't seen the picture of her as a child and recognized her. The only thing I can guess is that maybe they were killed and she was kidnapped. I also find it hard to believe that she was abandoned. You can't trust a man like Franklin Delano Floyd.
I'm going to buy a used copy of "A Beautiful Child" from Amazon. :)
