Here is an interesting article I've found about the horrible bowling alley massacre along with pictures of the victims. Apparently they still haven't caught the killers. :(

It's horrible enough to kill people for any reason, but it especially sickens me when people kill babies and small children.

I agree. One thing I like about Oregon is that anyone who murders a child gets charged with two counts because the victim is a child.

Those suspect composites are particularly eerie looking, especially the "aged" one. Age progressions sometimes spook me.

We are coming up on the 16th anniversary of the bowling alley massacre (Feb. 10, 1990).... just 5 days away. I can't even begin to imagine how the family members and friends of the victims must feel. They STILL have not seen these horrible people arrested...16 years later. Such a tragedy. We need to keep all of these people in our prayers. :(

Those guys are probably somewhere in Mexico or Central America, I think the key to the case is finding out who were some of the associates of the owner, and whom he owed money to, in order to find who might be responsible for the "hits". Im assuming robbery wasnt a motive, then.

Its horrible how they murdered chldren in cold blood, we should see if the pictures could be sent to Mexico and posted there, but no one will probably talk, those guys are probably in jail for other crimes or may have been killed by somone else

I have never seen UM's re-enactment of this story, only AMW's. It has been more than a decade and a half since it happened, but people have been on the run for longer and were eventually apprehended. The possibility of their capture stillexists. Some one has got to know something. Answers are out there, they are just tantalizing to find, but they are still there.

Glad to hear at the very least that they were able to keep operating for so many years after this tragedy. I know our similar local massacre around the same time (at a McDonalds) was so traumatizing to everyone that they tore the building down a few years later and it remains an empty lot to this day. Such a sad case due to the complete senselessness of it.

So sad. Just curious, was it the San Ysidro McDonald's massacre by James Huberty in 1984? :(

Sounds like the Sydney River McDonald's murders in 1992. The restaurant reopened, but was torn down in 2000. The San Ysidro McDonald's never reopened after the massacre. A college was later built on the site along with a memorial for the victims.

Correct. While it did reopen, it was obvious that a lot of people couldn't go back there and they did move although I thought it was earlier than 2000. The parallels between these two cases are astounding: the only difference is the one here was even more brutal and while they eventually caught all three murderers one of the killers is now a successful free man!

These two cases are probably the two best examples of completely senseless and violent murder against 100% innocent people and not the result of someone 'going postal'. In neither case did anyone offer any resistance to the robbery.
