View Full Version : Anyone here have an unsolved mystery take place in their country?? Tony Ballesteros 02-03-2006, 07:12 PM ive had a few, im from usa SP4CE INV4DERZ 02-03-2006, 07:45 PM ive had a few, im from usa err is this a silly question? 99% of UM cases are in the USA, it's a US show... The best I could do would be the 1978 Australian UFO case over the Tasman sea. Tap Dancer 02-03-2006, 08:14 PM LOL. Yeah, I'm also in the US and I've heard of a couple. ;) Awsi Dooger 02-03-2006, 08:56 PM Tony just wants someone to mention his case was shown the other day. Good job Tony! I think they stole your avatar and pasted it on UM. Too bad on that segment you didn't mention the parents who think their missing kid was hijacked by martians. That would have really livened things up. greatgarrett 02-06-2006, 08:39 PM i've seen a few on UM. i'm from Canada and have seen these out of Canada: The Monster of Cadborro Bay (or Caddy) off the coast of British Columbia about a mystic creature similar to Nessie. The Canadian UFO visitation in which a woman saw bright lights in the fields of West Carlton, about 40 miles north of the Canadian/US border. A tape was sent to a researcher in Maryland with some 'documents' and only the moniker 'Guardian', confirming what the woman saw. They don't know who the tape is from, though. Cindy James-the nurse who supposedly committed 'suicide' after months of apparent harassment by an unknown assailent in Vancouver, BC. The Falcon Lake UFO in Manitoba. After the witness suffered unexplained burns similar to the pattern described on the craft. Yes, Canada is full of Unsolved Mysteries......one even happened in my hometown in 1956, but i'm not sure if UM ever covered it. A couple with the same last name as me (no relation), were at their cottage and the next moment they vanished without a trace. Food and plates were still on the table and no sign of forced entry or foul play was ever recorded. A search turned up nothing. One minute they were there, the next minute, no sign of them. They weren't known to have money or gambling problems or anything of that nature. No one wanted them daed. The case is still unsolved. greatgarrett CANADA compulsive dvd 02-07-2006, 09:05 PM I just had to comment that I saw the segment with Tony Ballesteros and I laughed out loud because of your user name. That's genius. Too bad he couldn't give the family any information on the guy looking for The Beast. Tony Ballesteros 02-07-2006, 10:16 PM thanks man, that was one of the coolest um segments. i loved that this tony ballesteros guy came out of no where and then was gone..... yolate 02-08-2006, 12:16 PM I remember the name and the face but can anyone refresh my memory as to what case Tony Ballesteros was involved with and what role he played? Thanks! CODIS 02-08-2006, 02:40 PM Greatgarrett, wasn't the "rest stop killer" case in Canada or am I mistaken? Missing Tiny-Love the Fred Valentic (sp) story. it reminds me of "Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind" premise on the missing US Navy Avengers. Q. Did UM ever profile the "Backpacker Murders" or am I getting UM confused w/ a different program? Thx. Tony Ballesteros 02-08-2006, 02:48 PM the dude who went missing, went into the desert and was looking for "the beast" he left rock pyramids all over. theyfound a buisness card of a tony ballesteroes. CODIS 02-08-2006, 02:52 PM Tony Ballestaros did you ever try to find "Tony Ballestaros". ? mistagee 02-08-2006, 06:17 PM Im sorry, those ridiculous postings by Tony really detract from the utility of this site. Im sorry, but I have to put his postings on ignore Tony Ballesteros 02-08-2006, 06:48 PM sorry your majesty, maybe you guys should start another thread about what stories limeftime hasnt shown. we need more of those. justins5256 02-08-2006, 11:44 PM Im sorry, those ridiculous postings by Tony really detract from the utility of this site. Im sorry, but I have to put his postings on ignore I don't want to get into any kind flame war here, but in Tony's defense, I think this board could use some occasional comic relief. I personally do not find his posts offensive. Just my two cents. crystaldawn 02-09-2006, 12:45 PM Humor is one thing but we need to show some maturity as well. Posts that make derogatory or tacky comments and insulting other board members are not going to be tolerated. greatgarrett 02-09-2006, 07:02 PM CODIS, Yes, I belive it was a couple murdered at a rest stop in or near Blind River, Ontario. I'm not sure if they ever caught the guy. Cheers, greatgarrett mistagee 02-10-2006, 05:38 PM Agree, which is why posters should not make comments about people's weight, or other comments that take up space for serious case discussions |
