i believe you too
but still, no matter how nice a person can be, you are the ONLY person i've seen pull some of the crap you do. Don't worry; it's a compliment.
Ireneparalegal 02-03-2006, 03:40 PM So, when am I invited for fish sticks, mountain dew and DVDs?

Moonlight Lady 02-03-2006, 04:21 PM Solomon, SO wouldn't be the same without you. I agree. It would be boring here without you. :)
Ireneparalegal 02-03-2006, 04:25 PM There's something abt SOLOMON that even when he riles your feathers, he doesn't take things personal and he doesn't want others either. He is good at getting my serious side going and yet, making me laugh my a$$ off!!! Some posters, once you get on their negative side, that's it, they are always negative towards you. Not Solomon, life wouldn't be the same here if he left.
BTW: Solomon was my first!!!!!!!
THE FIRST PERSON TO RESPOND TO MY FIRST POST ON S.O.

First, I have never bashed Solomon; he is definitely one of my favorite people on this board; he is very insightful on classic, television shows and he is just funny as all hell, because he is blunt and outspoken..there is nothing wrong for someone to be themselves, and there is one thing that I admire about Solomon, that he is not afraid to be himself and to speak his mind; yes, I admit that he can be blunt, but he is also a very nice guy, and someone, whom I am very fond of.

Oh I know, I was trying to clarify on how I truly feel about Solomon and the reason why I am fond of him, no biggie:)

There is a strange between the show Maude and Goodtimes
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I found out that the Florida character was Maude's maid and her husband Henry-later james-got a job and Florida no longer had to work for Maude. Well if if that's the case, then why was the Evans struggling the very first episode of Good times-"Too old Blues" when james was turned down for a job because of his age. Also why was John Amos character on Maude name changed from Henry to James and Esther Rolle's character name stayed the same? After saying all of this i now realized one thing, GOOD TIMES is not a spinoff from Maude.

Hollow 02-03-2006, 06:27 PM alright, just to clarify, i'll say that solomon evidently was kidding or something about "seeing my picture yesterday" because i haven't posted any pictures of myself on here in over two years, ALL of which i deleted in 2004. and secondly solomon, i wasn't trying to insult you or anything, i saw at least one person call you soloman i kept interpreting it like solo man.
this post isn't negative, i'm not seeking an argument; have a nice day, solomon, and may the force be with you.
EmoJoe 02-03-2006, 06:38 PM i dont hate you just to clarify that. im not even mad at you. i was just joking in the other thread...so i hope you dont hate me

EmoJoe 02-03-2006, 06:42 PM I know, I know what thread u are referring to, it's the one Solomon did abt what 2 things can u do for 8 hours.
no it was brought up in the gay friend thread

i was thinking he saw your myspace or something but then i reliazed you need to be a member to see pics. so yeah.
Brian Damage 02-03-2006, 07:51 PM Solomon is the best. He is outspoken, he is controversial and he pulls no punches, but with all that said, I wouldn't have him any other way. In the beginning, I had a hard time understanding Solomon and I disliked him, but after getting to know him, he is a great guy with a kind heart. This place would be dead without him.
Mr. Television 02-03-2006, 08:03 PM SO would not be the same without Solomon. His threads always generate the most responses and creates the best discussions. He was one of the first people to talk to me when I joined SO and he's always been easy to talk to. I think some people can't always tell when he's joking and that might be where some of the problems come in. Plus we share a hatred for The Philadelphia Eagles so thats a bond right there. lol Thanks for making SO entertaining Solomon. This place would be dead without you.
Ireneparalegal 02-03-2006, 08:09 PM no it was brought up in the gay friend thread
No. the very first time SOLO MAN was mentioned it was the 8 hour thread. then, just today,it was the gay guy thread.
