Did anyone watch this show? I watched it simply to see Wayne Brady. I love him. He is so cute and so damn funny. But, I got kinda tired of the boring stuff that was eventually said abt certain things.

Me too, I was sort of offended at some of the remarks. They didn't seem to be going forward and always the race issues, how are we to move forward in unity when this keep being brought up? I also didnt' agree with Sanford And Son not being included on Wayne's list and Julia should have been #1 on that list.

I wonder was that the reason i fell asleep when I was watching it. Maybe I'm waiting for them to start talking about the 1970-1990 era instead of the 50's

And the only reason David Chappelle Show was on the List was because NERDY Wayne Brady made a guest appearance on his stupid show.

Did you all know that on Saturday (I don't know if this is a one time thing or what) but they are going to show a classic "movie" Barefoot in the park? WTF!!!!! If we want to see old movies, we can rent them, see them on Turner Classics, etc. I want to see old sitcoms, not that junk!!!!!!!

WTF is your problem??? Did you not read my post correctly...I said, I was hoping to see something abt the black sitcoms they mentioned in the top 12 list. but they got stuck on the race issue. After a half-hour i did change the channel.Where did I post that I watched the whole show???? God, go away and come back another day when your panties aren't all bunched up...:crazy:

No the reason the Chappelle's Show made it on his list is because it is a modern classic featuring a black performer and is a show that will go down in history as being one of the great comedy shows of all time.
Like it or not you cant deny the success of this show and it will continue to be talked about for years.

I was really impressed with Mr. Belafonte. That is a man that has lived. I also enjoyed Mrs. Carroll as well.

Paul Mooney wrote a lot of classic sitcom episodes, I'm surprised you don't like him so much.

Honestly, "That's What I'm Talking About" is a waste of time to watch. It has absolutely nothing to do with classic television. I don't understand why TVLand will not celebrate Black History Month by showing a marathon of three of the greatest black sitcoms in all of television history which are "Sanford And Son", "The Jeffersons", and "What's Happening!!". It would also be nice to include in the marathon other great black sitcoms like "Amos N Andy", "Sanford", and "Amen". Im sure most of you agree with me that great black sitcoms like the six I mentioned deserve to be honored by TVLand for Black History Month then a stupid 3 part series that has to do with sports, NBA, bling, rap music, and other situations that are not even television related.
