honestly, i think that the world is nothing and the afterlife is the foundation of all types of life and exists in another much greater dimension, which is why god lets horrible things happen in the world; our time on earth is nothing compared to our eternal lives in the kingdom of heaven (or the fiery pits of hell, if that's where you prefer to reside). it's not unreasonable to have emotions, but i don't think that even the worst pain, nor any feelings or experiences we have during our lives in the physical world are as significant in the long run as we think they are; we don't realize it, because the world is all we know, but nothing that happens on it hardly means a damn thing.

And i think you have to make life on Earth as well as you can, because an afterlife is a fairy tale dream for people who cant face reality...live your lives well, treat others with love and respect, cause, you only get one life...not 2
