I know alot of us here know abt where people work, or what they do, but do you have to wear a uniform? A shirt & Tie? casual wear?

Not a uniform, but a navy blue shirt with the company logo. Casual pants ok. Jeans are only allowed on Fridays.

Yes. We have to wear ugly dull-colored polo shirts and button the collar down, along with black pants, black shoes, and black socks. And if we don't follow the dress code, we get sent home. Meaning we can't work and we can't get paid. :(

I do not wear an uniform, but I do wear a skirt, with a blouse with shoes with a small heel..make-up,. etc

at the job i'll be starting in a few months.. not really a uniform. just a shirt that says MERCER MERCANTILE on it and has a little drawing. and jeans, khakis, or whatev pants you want.

A shirt and tie for me. I never dressed up before I took this job. Well, excluding graduations and church.

I work at "Zellers" and have to wear shirt with company logo and black pants.

i can prety much wear what I want to wear. Right now i'm wearing Kaki's and a tshirt... some days are dressier than others. As long as I don't show up looking like I just rolled around in dirt, they do'nt mind.

The one job I had years ago I wore a selection of uniforms, but they came off pretty much after I went onstage.;)

Besides the standard work shirt (either a white tee-shirt or red sweatshirt with the company's logo), I can wear pretty much anything I want (within reason). We're pretty laid back.

I wear what I want. (pizza boy).

I usually wear old shirts and pants so I dont stain my new stuff.

Company button up shirt. I usually wear something else underneath it because they only gave me 2 shirts. And then slacks or skirts, just no jeans.

Nope, no uniform. No dress code at all, really, except to be clean and decent. Torn clothes, scanty clothes, filthy clothes, etc... these are not acceptable. We are in the entertainment field, so it's pretty loose. Some of the folks wear shorts and t-shirts on a regular basis

I usually wear slacks, some more dressy than others. And jeans, usually on Fridays, but there's no rule that says they are not allowed on other days.

we have to dress up mon/ Thurs .. and Fridays are dress down day I work in a office... so basically we have to dress up.

I don't go to a catholic school. I just go to a public school in Bossier.

Even the dishwashers wear chef coats. And non-slip shoes are highly recommended.

i just started working at an ice cream place and we have to wear a red button-up shirt and a red cap. NOT FUN.

We have a choice of wearing navy blue or black uniforms. I always wear the black, even in the summertime. The black uniforms look a little nicer IMO. My black uniform reminds me of the one I wore when I was with the NYPD. We also have a choice of wearing black boots or shiny black dress shoes. I always wear the dress shoes even though they're no good in a foot chase lol I'll take style over comfort I guess lol

I work in a call center, so I only deal with customers by phone. (Starting on Monday, I won't be dealing with any customers at all - just files and faxes!) So it is a very casual enviroment. Jeans, sneakers, sweaters, sweatshirts, T-shirts, casual-dressy shirts...anything we want as long as the clothes (and the persons wearing them) are clean and presentable. If a higher up comes in (like our CEO did once), we are given notice to dress up.

I love the casual environment. After 6 1/2 years of working a uniform job (cashier at the movie theater), wearing clothes of MY choice every day is a dream come true!!! :lol:

We could wear casual clothing until now. Last week we were fitting for shirts. So in a week or so we all have to wear company shirts. Ugh!

We can wear slacks and a nice top, sandals when it's warmer out, sneakers. No jeans until friday or non-session days. After next week, we can wear summer clothes as long as we look presentable.

They call it corporate casual. Unless its a Friday which is dress-down day !

I'm business casual if it's allowed, business if necessary. I did ditch the pantihose about 5 years ago though - those were the worst! ;)

I work in a factory and most everyone wears jeans & t-shirts. We have to wear steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and ear plugs. We can wear shorts in the summer as long as they hit just above the knee. No short shorts, tank tops or muscle shirts though.

Yep my job requires a uniform. I work in a hosptial kitchen so I get to wear nursing scrubs which in my option are way more comfortable then wearing jeans. So every friday that's jean day I usually just end up wearing my scrub pants
