The third season is much-maligned, but it still had some inspired craziness:
For example, isn't it great that when The Commissioner and Batman visit the inspector at Venerable Ireland Yard, that the inspector has an office that looks remarkably like Commissioner Gordon's back in Gotham City, USA??
BTW, if the Commissioner, Chief and the Bat-Trio are in Londinium, who's watching over Gotham?? Word must have spread fast through the criminal grapevine that no one was around.
And also, it was amazing that when Batman & Robin arrived in Londinium, they had a fully-functioning Batcave ready for them. Boy, Alfred must've packed Dick Grayson's crates with his "textbooks" really fast.
The three-parter probably ran too long, but it had those inspired little moments.
