In the episode when Janet wanted someone to go along with her on the date with the other guy, she asked Mr. furley and when he found out it would be another guy he got mad and said forget it-lol Did he really think that Janet was asking him out on a date? Mr. furley was out of his mind.

But as old as Mr. Furley was he shouldn't have even cared if there was another guy. He was old enough to be Janet's father. Now if she had asked Larry to go out with her and he found out it was another guy then I can see him being like "ANOTHER GUY? But defintely not Mr. Furley-lol

That was the nature of his character--he was a skirt-chasing romantic, blind to the fact that he often looked ridiculous to the opposite sex! Hey, I know some real-life people like that! :lol:

I know. That is one of the things that made his character so funny. I was watching Three's Company last night and Mr. Furley had me cracking up so hard. Don really did a good job with that character.
