View Full Version : The New WKRP
Fandor 01-30-2006, 12:45 PM Hi, folks. Does anyone out there have episodes of THE NEW WKRP IN CINCINNATI. I'm trying to complete a set, and desperately need episodes 13, 19 – 21, 23, 25, 30, & 43 – 45. If anyone has a source for these, please drop me a line offlist at lunatictyme@yahoo.com. Thanks so much!. - Curt

Mhadley I think Bencasey is another AJ, just want to tell you what he has and not trade.
bencasey 02-05-2006, 12:46 AM What I have is one of the best collections in the country. What I don't do is trade rare, great quality shows for 3rd generation dubs. Nor am I interested in selling something or giving it away. I worked damn hard and spent tens of thousands of dollars over the last 25+ years putting my collection together. And I didn't do it so I could give it away. So if that makes me a bad guy, so be it. But I'm not trading some show that cost me big bucks to buy on film for crap. Or shows I had the foresight to record in the early days when tapes were $20 a blank for something someone got a dub of a dub of a dub of.

Well if your collection is so great why don't you have ON THE ROCKS??

Not that great:) Hey no one has everything. I don't have Miss Winslow and Son, Mikky and Phyl, Joe and Sons, Popi, Hot L Baltimore, The Dumplings, Busting Loose, The Kallikaks, Hizzoner, All's Fair, Mr. Dugan (although I have the promos for it) and several others from that mid to late 70s era. I'm more into 50s and 60s shows anyway but they would be nice to have examples of.
Fandor 02-06-2006, 07:23 PM Sorry for the tardy reply, guys. The episodes I'm currently missing are: 13. Hip Hop KRP, 19. Number One Fan, 20. Chicken a la Russe, 22. Spies Like Us, 23. Herb's Got a Guy, 25. Retreading on Thin Ice, 30. Play Razor for Me, 42. Treasure of Sierra Smith, 43. My Fair Nun, 44. Chicago Story, and 45. Father of the Groom. The majority of the episodes which I DO have are first generation recordings from the series' original run in syndication (not the later re-runs on VH1). If anyone can help me fill in my gaps, I'd greatly appreciate it. Oh, and Josh, thanks for emailing me, but you and I just recently traded episodes of this series for DOCTOR DOCTOR episodes. Don't know why you got a bounce from my email address, but it should be just fine now if you ever want to try again. Thanks for all the response to my post. - Curt
mhadley 02-06-2006, 07:41 PM Okay, I think I have Retreading On Thin Ice.
