View Full Version : SO Interview: Chad Michael Murray (Week 3)
swedeace 01-30-2006, 08:31 AM Chad Michael Murray's name is one of two names picked for the SO Interview of the Week!!
Ask him anything. And away we go....
My question:
If you could spend an entire day with any one SOer here at Sitcoms Online, who would would it be with? Why?
gilligan fanatic 01-30-2006, 01:33 PM Did you ever have to take summer school?
EmoJoe 01-30-2006, 01:41 PM Doesnt :mrtarver: rule?
Southern Hellraiser 01-30-2006, 02:25 PM Do you watch Home Improvement?
bad_boy 01-30-2006, 03:32 PM Are you the real Chad Micheal Mury?
Chad Michael Murray 01-30-2006, 05:26 PM Wow, I didn't expect myself to be picked so soon! However...having an entire thread dedicated to myself is something that I think I can definitely get used to.
If you could spend an entire day with any one SOer here at Sitcoms Online, who would would it be with? Why?
This one is so tough!! All of you here at SO have been so great to me so far during my time here. If I could, I'd love to spend a day with all of you. But, if I HAVE to pick...I'd have to go with Ireneparalegal, just so we can see how alike we REALLY are afterall!
Did you ever have to take summer school?
Nope, thank god.
Doesnt :mrtarver: rule?
Yes, but unfortunately...not quite as much as :mrt: does.
Do you watch Home Improvement?
Not on a regular basis, but I do enjoy it and I'll watch it sometimes if I happen to come across it.
Are you the real Chad Micheal Mury?
No, but I am the real Chad Michael Murray. Chad Micheal Mury is just an impersonator...kinda like how mall Santas aren't the 'real' Santa, but instead just lackies out there doing Santa's dirty work. As a matter of a fact...maybe I'm The Real Slim Shady instead.
...or The Real Ghostbusters.
PrettyinPink55 01-30-2006, 05:28 PM What do you like best about Chad?
What do you think really happened between Chad and Sophia?
Do you watch cartoons?
What is your favorite smilie?
Chad Michael Murray 01-30-2006, 05:39 PM What do you like best about Chad?
His body, sans clothing. Well, I also like the character of Lucas on OTH, because he comes across as a good, caring guy, which I think of myself as also. So I felt like I could identify with him, pretty much.
What do you think really happened between Chad and Sophia?
I think it's probably true that he cheated. It's unfortunate, for so many reasons. But also...I can't see any reason whatsoever! Cheating's wrong in every way, but at least most cheaters would cheat up instead of down. Sophia's hot, and seems like a really great person. What does Paris have going for her? Y'know, besides...
...well, actually, I really can't think of anything at all that she's got going for her besides money. MAYBE SHE PAID HIM! Chad Michael Murray: Male Gigolo.
Do you watch cartoons?
Not on a really regular basis, but if I'm home sick and spending the day in bed or something and I find cartoons I like, I'll watch them. I do watch Family Guy though, if that counts as a cartoon.
What is your favorite smilie?
It's gotta be :mrt:!!
:mrt: CAN YOU DIG IT, SUCKA?! :mrt:

ok, here are my questions:
what is your fave color?
how do you like your steak cooked?
Do you or have you been to the beach?
What is the first thing that catches your eye abt someone?
How important is humor in a relationship?
If you could trade places with a well-known person, who would it be and why?
Southern Hellraiser 01-30-2006, 06:26 PM What was the last movie you watched?
Chad Michael Murray 01-30-2006, 06:34 PM what is your fave color?
Blue
how do you like your steak cooked?
Medium
Do you or have you been to the beach?
Yep! Lots of times. I prefer going to the pool, though...there's something about beaches that doesn't quite make them my favorite. It's a great place to people-watch, though!
What is the first thing that catches your eye abt someone?
Hmm, it depends on the person. Some people, I notice their face first. Others, I notice their hair. Of course, there are also other things I notice pretty early on that I'm not going to go into detail about on this family-friendly forum.
How important is humor in a relationship?
SO important! I think I'm a pretty humorous person, and I couldn't be with somebody else who didn't have a sense of humor. Luckily, my girlfriend loves making the same kinds of crazy jokes as I do.
If you could trade places with a well-known person, who would it be and why?
Brad Pitt, so I could be desired by a big portion of the world...and also so I could see myself naked.
What was the last movie you watched?
Seed of Chucky
EmoJoe 01-30-2006, 06:40 PM Wow, I didn't expect myself to be picked so soon! However...having an entire thread dedicated to myself is something that I think I can definitely get used to.

Brad Russ 01-30-2006, 06:41 PM Who are your three all time favorite wrestlers??
What was the best wrestling pay per view you ever saw??
Who is Chad Michael Murray?? The name sounds familiar, but I can't quite picture him.
Southern Hellraiser 01-30-2006, 06:42 PM Do you have DirecTV, Dish Network, or neither
Brad Russ 01-30-2006, 06:43 PM :mrt: is not as good as :mrtarver: :snob: :p
Whatchoo talking bout?? Neither of those are as good as my boy Arnold :gary:
Ireneparalegal 01-30-2006, 06:43 PM Do you have any pets?
How many states have you visited?
Ever been out of the country?
What is the first concert you ever went to?
How do you want to be remembered in life?
how did you become a member of SO? what brought you to this "rubber room" of ours?
Cactus Jack 01-30-2006, 06:47 PM Have you seen the movie JACK WILSON GOES TO STEINHATCHEE?
Chad Michael Murray 01-30-2006, 07:08 PM Who are your three all time favorite wrestlers??
Hmm, all time...let's see. First off, I have to say Kane. I've always been a fan of him, and a lot of times when I was younger, I liked the ones who had more interesting gimmicks and just had more to them; most of the other guys, I always found boring because they were 'just guys', nothing out of the ordinary about them.
Second, Randy Orton, because I quit watching wrestling for about 4 years, and now that me and my gf have started again a couple of months ago, we both liked Randy and...well, yeah. So he helped get me back into it again.
Third, Shawn Michaels. No explanation needed.
What was the best wrestling pay per view you ever saw??
Wrestlemania 14--it was the first time I'd ever watched wrestling before, and I loved it.
Who is Chad Michael Murray?? The name sounds familiar, but I can't quite picture him.
He's an actor, and also the guy that's in my avatar. He plays Lucas on One Tree Hill, and has also played roles on Gilmore Girls and Dawson's Creek. You can catch him in the movies Freaky Friday, A Cinderella Story and House of Wax.
Do you have DirecTV, Dish Network, or neither
Neither--I have Comcast Digital Cable.
Do you have any pets?
Yep!! I'll attach his picture to the bottom of this post.
How many states have you visited?
Not very many. Apart from the one I live in, I've been in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Virginia, West Virginia and Florida. I was also in Georgia once on a layover if that counts.
Ever been out of the country?
I've visited Jamaica a few times. It's great sometimes to not only get away from your life for a week, but to be far, FAR away from it. As far as possible, preferably.
What is the first concert you ever went to?
When I was 13, my mom took me to see the Rolling Stones. I'm not that big of a fan, but I wanted to go. The first concert I went to that I actually cared about was when I was 16 and saw Britney Spears.
How do you want to be remembered in life?
Reeking of awesomeness, that's how.
how did you become a member of SO? what brought you to this "rubber room" of ours?
Well, I used to visit The Facts of Life Site and I'd go check the message board occasionally to see if anything was new. Well, that message board is the FOL one here on SO. When I'd check and there was nothing new, I began checking around the rest of the place, little by little. Eventually, I decided to join. I didn't post much for the first couple of months, though, because I thought there were too many people to possibly bond with and I was afraid I wouldn't fit in, or that nobody would care about me anyway!
Have you seen the movie JACK WILSON GOES TO STEINHATCHEE?
Never, but I will if you say I should.
...is that even a real movie?
P.S.-- :mrt: dominates the forum.
Now here's my cat:
Cactus Jack 01-30-2006, 07:20 PM Its not a real mobie , it will be in the future it will be one of mine I will go to STEINHATCHEE!!

Oh no you didn't! :racist: owns you!! :snob: :p
If you could invite any five people (living or dead, real or fictional) over to dinner at your house, who would you choose and why?
Brad Russ 01-30-2006, 07:26 PM Oh no you didn't! :racist: owns you!! :snob: :p
 props:
Michael [hXc] 01-30-2006, 07:30 PM i have two questions.
do you think Jennifer Lopez has a nice ass? lol :D
and
what three things would you most like to accomplish in your life?
EmoJoe 01-30-2006, 07:33 PM Oh no you didn't! :racist: owns you!! :snob: :p
If you could invite any five people (living or dead, real or fictional) over to dinner at your house, who would you choose and why?
sure does. everyone must bow down to :racist:
*waits for someone to start complaining about how its just a smiley and a smiley that causes trouble*
Chad Michael Murray 01-30-2006, 07:42 PM So, ok thats a cool pic of your cat Whats the cat's name?
The cat's name is Shadow, but I've always called him Bear, because he just always reminds me of a big, furry bear.
If you could invite any five people (living or dead, real or fictional) over to dinner at your house, who would you choose and why?
Hmm...wow! That's a good one. Let's see. Ellen DeGeneres, Buffy Summers (BtVS), Tom Welling, Trish Stratus, Randy Orton. It was really tough to pick five, so I tried to pick five people I know I'd have a good time with.
Do you think Jennifer Lopez has a nice ass?
Ooooohhhhhh YES. Just as long as it's 'Wedding Planner' Jennifer though, and not that scary no make-up Jennifer picture that I remember seeing and that is still floating around this forum somewhere.
What three things would you most like to accomplish in your life?
Hmm...well, let's see. Firstly, I'd like to achieve a state of being where money is no object at all. I want to be able to comfortably afford a nice lifestyle, and to be successful enough in my career where that becomes a reality.
Secondly, when I'm old, I want to be able to look back on my life and feel like I've touched the lives of many other people in a positive way. I just want to basically do as much good as I can, and to make life nice for whoever interacts with me.
Thirdly, I want to have a successful relationship and marriage, and to always be as in love as I have been for the past two years. That's something that will always stay solid though, and I know how lucky I am to be in such a position. That's really the most important thing to me of all; as long as I have love, everything else is just icing on the cake.
Michael [hXc] 01-30-2006, 07:54 PM oh. when you mean in love, do you mean you are in a relationship now or want to be?
and did you watch the whole movie The Wedding Planner?
Chad Michael Murray 01-30-2006, 08:27 PM oh. when you mean in love, do you mean you are in a relationship now or want to be?
Yep, I'm engaged now.
and did you watch the whole movie The Wedding Planner?
I did, a long time ago, but I really don't remember much of it. I amused myself with the funny parts, along with studying J-Lo's assets...
But, my girlfriend loves that movie, so I'm sure I'll see it many more times, along with the dreaded PRETTY WOMAN!! *Villagers scream in horror, fleeing*
Michael [hXc] 01-30-2006, 08:28 PM do you and your wife-to-be plan on ever having kids?
PrettyinPink55 01-30-2006, 08:47 PM What's your favorite episode of One Tree Hill?
Do you watch Gilmore Girls?
What would you say is your biggest fear?
What is your weakness?
You're good at this interviewing thing, have you ever been interviewed before? (Maybe you are the real CMM! ;) )
Number 9 Dream 01-30-2006, 10:18 PM Who is your role model?
Jo_Luvs_Ketchup 01-30-2006, 10:58 PM Do you like ketchup?:D
Chad Michael Murray 01-31-2006, 12:22 AM Do you and your wife-to-be plan on ever having kids?
Yep, we plan to adopt two kids (WAY down the line) because 1.) she doesn't want to go through pregnancy and 2.) there are just too many kids in the world who need good homes.
What's your favorite episode of One Tree Hill?
Any episode with naked Lucas.
Do you watch Gilmore Girls?
Never!! *Fears being lynched by PrettyinPink55 and MsOrange* Not to say that I don't like the show, I've just never watched it. I couldn't say that I've even seen 5 minutes of it before.
What would you say is your biggest fear?
Birds; clowns; dolls that are alive and kill people; evil children; midgets.
But in all seriousness, I think my absolute biggest fear would be something tragic happening to alter my life in some way, like if something were to happen to my girlfriend. I'm very sensitive about the subject, and everytime I see a movie or TV show or anything else where two lovers are separated by some kind of an awful tragedy, it's really hard for me to watch.
What is your weakness?
Hmm, my weakness...that's a tough one. You really ask some great questions! I'd have to say that one weakness I have is the ability to be able to trust people a bit too much, early on in the friendship. Like, I always prefer to believe that the world is full of mostly good people, and I basically wear my heart on my sleeve, and there have been times when it came back to bite me in the ass afterwards.
You're good at this interviewing thing, have you ever been interviewed before? (Maybe you are the real CMM!)
Hmm, maybe I am...;)
Who is your role model?
I'm not really sure if I have only one role model or not...normally, I tend to take different parts of people that I really like, and use it to the best of my ability to just try and be the best person that I can. I've done it with many people in my life--people I've known, famous people, or even fictional characters that I may admire. I think that inspiration can be found anywhere, and you should never leave anything out when you're looking for it.
Do you like ketchup?
Yeah, ketchup is good. Speaking of ketchup...does anybody here really spell it 'catsup'? I have ALWAYS hated that spelling, and I don't see why anybody would use it when 'ketchup' is the far superior one. And another thing: why is it that ketchup in a bottle is just ketchup, but if it's in those little packets at McDonald's then it's 'fancy ketchup'? Personally, I find a glass jar to be a lot fancier than a plastic packet.
robyrob 01-31-2006, 12:42 AM do you think that accordian solos are under-rated?
do you think that Boba Fett deserves to have his own brand of feminine hygene products?
have you ever played Hungry Hungry Hippos, and ifso...didja CHEAT?
should roller-derby become an olympic sport? ifso, should they add it to the winter or summer games? what about tiddly-winks?
Chad Michael Murray 01-31-2006, 12:51 AM do you think that accordian solos are under-rated?
If by 'accordian solos' you really meant to say 'Meatloaf', then yes.
do you think that Boba Fett deserves to have his own brand of feminine hygene products?
As a matter of fact, I do. Just imagine the ad campaign. "Feeling a little roomy down there? Then try Boba Fett's Extra Large Tampons, for a snug Boba Fit every time."
have you ever played Hungry Hungry Hippos, and ifso...didja CHEAT?
If I did, I learned it all from you. You have nobody to blame but yourself. It's not my fault you can no longer even BEGIN to compete with my Hungry Hippo Prowess!!
should roller-derby become an olympic sport? ifso, should they add it to the winter or summer games? what about tiddly-winks?
Yes, it should. I think it should be a Summer sport, that way the women can be in as revealing outfits as possible.
Tiddlywinks should be in the Winter. That way, if anybody gets hit in the eye with one of them, they have half a year to heal before going to the beach in the Summer.
Dean Winchester 01-31-2006, 01:10 AM Do you watch Gilmore Girls?
Never!! *Fears being lynched by PrettyinPink55 and MsOrange* Not to say that I don't like the show, I've just never watched it. I couldn't say that I've even seen 5 minutes of it before.

Chad Michael Murray 01-31-2006, 08:27 AM Do watch American Idol?
Only season 3.
Have you ever seen Rent (musical or movie version)?
Nope! But if it's as great as you say it is, then I'll make sure I get around to it!
Will you at least check out Gilmore Girls someday?
If I catch a Chad episode on TV, I'll definitely watch it,
What do you think is the worst movie ever made?
"This is pretty much the worst video ever made..."
Hmm. Let's see...oh, I know EXACTLY which one it is. That damn "Jack Frost" movie, but not the one with Michael Keaton. This one is about a killer snowman, and it's direct-to-video and it's the cheesiest thing EVER. The snowman looks like styrofoam.
What is your favorite song right now?
Out of the current crop...
Bon Jovi- Have a Nice Day.
And I've been loving answering questions so far for you guys! Totally keep them coming. I could do this forever.
Superstar 01-31-2006, 09:45 AM Do you watch Gilmore Girls?

Chad Michael Murray 01-31-2006, 03:53 PM I think someone ate my cinnamon roll. :( Do you know who?
It was Grimace, that big fuzzy purple Christmas tree from McDonaldland.
that's right bitch, watch out
 !!!!!!!
The PCH camera crew comes to your door Super Bowl Sunday with a giant novelty check for $10 million. What do you buy?
First of all, a new pair of pants to replace the ones that I'd wet when they brought the check.
...actually, scratch that. If I'm rich, who needs to wear pants?!
Anyway, the VERY first three things I'd buy are a brand new, HUGE house, a Corvette for myself, and any car that my girlfriend decided she wanted. Then, we'd use a big portion of the money in investments so that it would never run out, and we could really do whatever we wanted with the rest of our lives. Well, before all of that, though...the one thing I'd do is buy my girlfriend the nicest wedding ring that she could ever imagine.
And do you ham it up for the camera?
Oh hell yeah! You know it.

bad_boy 01-31-2006, 05:01 PM Whats your favorite decade?
PrettyinPink55 01-31-2006, 05:06 PM Oh Hell no!  You seriously need to watch Gilmore Girls!!!! Or the squad will be comin' after yo' ass! Just kidding....or am I?
If you could live anywhere ELSE in the world where would it be and why?
What really ticks you off?
Chad Michael Murray 01-31-2006, 07:42 PM Whats your favorite decade?
Hmm, well, I'll assume you probably mean a 'retro' decade, so I'm going to say the 80's. Although I was born in 1984, there is a lot of stuff I can still remember from the 80's as a kid. Whatever I was too young to remember, I learned about. I just think the 80's seemed SO fun, really. The music, the TV, the movies. I always wished I would've been born in 1970 so I could've lived my teen years in the 80s.
If you could live anywhere ELSE in the world where would it be and why?
I'd really love to live in Toronto. It has such a friendly atmosphere to it, and the people that come from there always seems so warm and welcoming.
What really ticks you off?
Hmm...I think if I had to pick one thing that ticks me off, it's when people judge something or someone without knowing, or if they jump into a conversation or argument when they don't know a damn thing about what's going on.
Another thing that I hate though is people who just need to constantly make trouble. It drives me crazy when you know a person who always says things to get under your skin, but they say it in such a way that you can't prove to anybody else that they were doing it just to make you mad, even though you and they both know it. The person will just continue to do it, until eventually you just lose it and it becomes a full blown fight. I can't stand people like that.
Southern Hellraiser 01-31-2006, 08:12 PM What kind of sandwich do you like? :grr:
robyrob 01-31-2006, 09:24 PM i'm stil trying to catch up, so forgive me if any of these have already been asked...
wha'd I miss?
what do you think of LIFE on other planets?
was your answer to the previous question biased by any personal affiliation to any of these other planets? (careful , this may be a TRICK QUESTION)
do you ever get caught by TRICK QUESTIONS?
if you were a robot, what would be your PRIMARY FUNCTION?
and finally, are you a robot? (remember, ROBOTS CAN'T LIE)
Dean Winchester 01-31-2006, 11:08 PM if Chad Michael Murray is all yours... mind if I date James Lafferty?
what's your favorite toothpaste?
how many bodies have you stuffed in your trunk?
Chad Michael Murray 01-31-2006, 11:26 PM What kind of sandwich do you like?
Roast beef on wheat with swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayonaise.
wha'd I miss?
Well, earlier on, I gave the secret to leading a rich, successful life with the finest luxuries for as long as you live. I was merely sharing it with all of the other members here, but I really meant it to be seen by you. Since you missed it, though, there's just absolutely no way that I'm repeating myself.
what do you think of LIFE on other planets?
I don't really know...do they even have cereal on any planets besides Earth?
was your answer to the previous question biased by any personal affiliation to any of these other planets? (careful , this may be a TRICK QUESTION)
Well, I was always sort of partial to Saturn...
do you ever get caught by TRICK QUESTIONS?
Never. I'm quick...like a fox. Or an ostrich.
if you were a robot, what would be your PRIMARY FUNCTION?
To be the sexual slave of somebody who's extremely attractive.
and finally, are you a robot? (remember, ROBOTS CAN'T LIE)
They can, if they're from Saturn. Clearly, you haven't met very many robots in your day.
if Chad Michael Murray is all yours... mind if I date James Lafferty?
Go right ahead! I can't hog everybody, as much as I wish I could.

how many bodies have you stuffed in your trunk?
Zero...
...but that's just because yesterday was trash day, so I hauled them out to the curb.
Jo_Luvs_Ketchup 02-01-2006, 12:10 AM Okay, get this. You pass me along the street. I'm sitting on a park bench. and I'm talking to myself. But ah, I am not only talking to myself, I am talking to me about...KETCHUP! What would you think, do, and say?? :D
Chad Michael Murray 02-01-2006, 12:12 AM Okay, get this. You pass me along the street. I'm sitting on a park bench. and I'm talking to myself. But ah, I am not only talking to myself, I am talking to me about...KETCHUP! What would you think, do, and say??
Well, really, I see nothing strange about this scenario. Afterall, many people sit on park benches, right? I wouldn't find that very out of the ordinary at all. And although it's a little odd, I've seen plenty of people talk to themselves before, too. And then the ketchup! Everybody loves ketchup, right? So, really, I think the first thing I'd probably say is...
"Who the HELL is that freak sitting there by herself talking about KETCHUP like that?!"
Oh, it's true alright. You heard it here first.
Chad Michael Murray 02-01-2006, 01:27 PM Well, since I'm the one running the show around here when it comes to this thread...I think I'm going to temporarily hijack it for a greater purpose!

Chad Michael Murray 02-01-2006, 04:52 PM What did you want to be when you were younger?
A professional wrestler. OOOOH YEEEEAAAAAAAH!!
How many languages can you speak?
Well, hold on now, let me roll out this IMPRESSIVE list of languages that I'm fluent in. Ahem. Well, first, there's English, and then...
...uh...well, come to think of it, I guess that's really the only one!
Have you ever been to Mexico?
Never! But, whenever I do go, I've already been warned not to drink the water.
Can you roll your tongue?
Well, if you mean the way that people do where they roll it up down the middle like a taco, then no. :( But if you mean like the way that you roll your tongue to purr, or to go "RrRrRrRrRrRrRrrrrrrRRRRRRRR!" then YES, I can!! :D
DAMN THAT MIDDLE ONE IS HOTT!
I know, right? But then again, we shouldn't expect anything else anyway.
Dean Winchester 02-01-2006, 05:31 PM damn, when's the middle pic from? he almost doesn't even look like Chad there
Chad Michael Murray 02-01-2006, 05:46 PM damn, when's the middle pic from? he almost doesn't even look like Chad there
Yep, it's pretty old. It's an early modeling photo from him. He broke his nose once, and afterwards had to have it re-set or something like that. That's why in that picture, his nose is more thin and narrow, but now it's almost more like a pug nose. I much prefer it now, though.
Dean Winchester 02-01-2006, 05:53 PM cute young pic of Chad, but he did look like that guy from LFO there
PrettyinPink55 02-01-2006, 06:03 PM Do you believe in ghosts?

Do you watch Unsolved Mysteries?
What was your favorite subject in school?
Chad Michael Murray 02-01-2006, 08:14 PM Thank you, PrettyinPink55, for helping me keep this thread alive! I REFUSE to let it die before Monday comes around!!
Do you believe in ghosts?
Yep, I definitely do. I just feel like I've heard too many stories and experienced too many things myself for them not to exist.
Do you believe in aliens?
I'm not really sure about that. I mean, I'm not somebody who completely advocates the thought of their existence, but at the same time, I don't try to claim they don't exist because I really think anything's possible. Who knows for sure?
Do you watch Unsolved Mysteries?
Never. When I was a little kid, somebody would ALWAYS have it on, and I was traumatized by a combination of the music and of Robert Stack being scary. So, for that reason, I still avoid it to this day.
What was your favorite subject in school?
Well, out of the purely educational subjects, I'd have to say English class. In there, more often than not you'd write things about what you feel, or what you think. There's never just one right answer, and I was always really good at being able to express my own thoughts and ideas, as opposed to something like math where it's basically "This is the right answer, and if you don't get this then you're wrong. Have a nice day."
But, my favorite class overall was gym.
bad_boy 02-01-2006, 08:39 PM How did you come up with your username?

Chad Michael Murray 02-01-2006, 11:40 PM How did you come up with your username?
...seriously? Well, I guess it IS sort of a mystery. So, here you go, I'll tell the tale right now.
I'm a big fan of Roseanne, so I figured...well, what better way to honor her than to name myself 'Chad Michael Murray'? That's right, you heard it here first.
What was the most memorable moment in your entire school career?
Hmm...
I don't really know if I can think of just one particular moment, but the most memorable thing to me about school was the familiarity of it all. I mean, when you're in a high school for four years, you know a lot of the same people the whole time, and you pretty much know what to expect. I always liked the first day of school, when I'd get to see which of my friends or other people I knew would be in my classes. You could get to know people really well during those four years, and it pretty much became a place where you kind of knew what to expect from people, and they knew what to expect from you. I graduated 2 and a half years ago and I still miss the familiarity of it all. I didn't know at the time, but looking back, I know now that older people were always right when they said that high school is one of the best times of your life.
Do you still play with barbies?
Lmfao, STILL?! What in the WORLD, I swear...
PrettyinPink55 02-02-2006, 12:07 AM Do you have any pets?

Chad Michael Murray 02-02-2006, 01:04 AM Do you have any pets?
Yep, I posted a picture of my cat a few pages back.
If the Scott Brothers from OTH were to duke it out, who would win? I mean BOTH Lucas vs Nathan and Keith vs Dan!
Well, out of Keith and Dan, I'm kind of inclined to think that Keith might win. Lucas and Nathan would be tougher to figure out, but out of sheer loyalty, I'm going to have to go with Lucas.
What would be your dream career?
I'd love to be famous and loved by the world. So really, anything at all where I could be on TV and appreciated by nearly everybody.
Are you a Three's Company fan?
I LOVE Three's Company! I don't watch it very often, but I still like it.
Would you rather have the power to see into the future or change the past?
Change the past. Even if I could see into the future, it's still possible to wind up making mistakes. If you can change the past, though, then whatever winds up happening, you could just go back and make sure it didn't happen the next time around.
Do you believe things happen for a reason?
I definitely do. There are some rough times that I've been through in my life already, and at the time, I always wished that it wasn't happening to me. I never understood how come I was the one going through these things. But now that I'm at such a great point in my life, I look back at all of those times and noticed things that actually contributed to me being in the position I'm in now. If none of those things had happened, I wouldn't be at the same point in my life at all.
What was your favorite part about tonight's OTH episode?
Hmm...well, it wasn't my favorite, since it was so sad, but...*highlight the text below to see the rest, incase anyone else hasn't watched yet*
Ellie dying at the end really impacted me. It was such an awful thing to have happen, and I felt so awful for Peyton. God, what a week! First Jonathan Kent, and now this! It really was sad to watch, and that's why I think it deserves to be the stealing scene of the show.
Do you think Lucas and Peyton will really get it on?
I don't really think so...I hope that Lucas and Brooke stay together.

Chad Michael Murray 02-02-2006, 12:26 PM Should I be doing my homework instead of being on these boads?
NEVEEEEEER!! You can get far more education from your fellow boardies on SO than you ever could by reading some silly BOOK!
Where were you born?
I was born in Chicago and lived there for the first 10 years of my life. Then, we moved to the suburbs, where I've lived ever since.
Do you like cheesecake?
Yeah, it's alright. I mean, it's not my all-time favorite, but if I've got a sweet tooth and it's around, I sure as hell won't turn it away.
Favorite desert?
Either blueberry pie or lemon meringue pie.
Favorite restaurant?
It's gotta be Chili's. It's just such a great place to go with a group of people and have a good, loud time. The food is AWESOME, too.
Which "Friend" are you most like and why?
Hey, what a clever question! I always think questions like this are so fun. I think I can probably see a little of myself in all of them, but I'd have to say that I'm a mix of Chandler and Monica. Chandler, because I usually like to kid around and make a joke out of everything, but then Monica because I get just as competitive as she does.
What do you think the future holds for Haley and Nathan?
I want them to stay together so bad! They're such a great couple, and it's my favorite thing in the world to see two people happy together.
Do you think Deb will ever come back?
I'm sort of inclined to think so, since her name is still in the opening credits.
Do you think the romance between Karen and Keith will last?
I hope so! I think Karen and Keith belong together.
What do you think Dan is up to?
Some kind of sneaky, dirty, underhanded tricks as usual. I can't wait to see what he looks like when he finds out that Deb was actually the one who tried to burn him alive, not Keith.
Do you think Rachel really is into Mouth?
I'm not really sure. I mean, on the one hand, the time they shared during the storm seemed like she really liked him. I mean, if not, she did a good job of faking it. But on the other hand, at the end, it seemed like nothing had changed and that she was still just trying to piss Brooke off.
Are you annoyed by all these OTH questions? LOL!
Not in a million years!
What star was your childhood crush?
The first crush I can really remember having from early childhood was Aunt Becky from Full House. And, as a matter of fact, I still think she's pretty hot.
What is the boldest thing you ever done for something you believe in?
Well, normally, if I feel pretty passionate about something, then I make sure that it shows. I can't really recall one bold moment off the top of my head (if I do, I'll post it later) but if I have a strong opinion about something, I refuse to be a pushover. I'll tell somebody flat out what I think, or make sure that it's widely known what my stance is on the issue.

PrettyinPink55 02-02-2006, 07:15 PM Why are you such a Brooke/Lucas fan?
What OTH character are you most like?
When was the last time you cried?
Chad Michael Murray 02-02-2006, 07:24 PM Why are you such a Brooke/Lucas fan?
I don't really know. I just think that they're really sweet together, and I just think that they look great together. For whatever reason, I'm just really not wild about the thought of Peyton/Lucas.
What OTH character are you most like?
Well, I think I'd have to really go with Lucas. Firstly, I grew up without a Dad just like him, so I have those same kinds of feelings on that subject. Secondly, he's just such a caring, sensitive soul who just wants to love and be loved, and all he ever wants is to do the right thing. That's the kind of person I always want to be.
When was the last time you cried?
You already knew the answer to this. Lmfao! You just wanted to single me out in front of the board!
Okaaaaay, I'll admit it. The last time I cried was when Jonathan Kent died on Smallville. I felt like the entire episode was just packed with emotion, from the scene where Clark and Martha are getting ready for the funeral until the end of the episode, I felt like it was just such a powerful thing to have to see.
But, I did get teary last night when Peyton found Ellie dead, and then she spread her ashes at the end.

Chad Michael Murray 02-02-2006, 07:44 PM Favorite flavor ice cream?
Many people diss me for this, but it's actually...
Vanilla!
What song lyric best describes your life right now?
"When I'm not with you I lose my mind"--in dedication to my girlfriend.
Favorite power ranger?
Kimberly, the Pink Ranger, because I always thought she was hot when I was a kid.
When we'd play Power Rangers, though, I always had to be Jason.
Favorite Spice Girl?
Ginger Spice, hands down.
N'Sync or Backstreet?
NSYNC for sure! Sometimes when it comes to pop music, I still prefer to be stuck in the land of 1998/1999/2000. I miss those days!
However, these days, I just cannot stand Justin Timberlake one bit.
PrettyinPink55 02-02-2006, 07:50 PM OMG! You are just like me!
N'Sync all the way baby!!!!!!!! EXCEPT I am the hugest JT fan lol. I still love him, and I miss those old pop days!
Oh, and I was always the Yellow Ranger! Although ironically, pink has always been my favorite color, you'd think I'd want to be Kimberly...but I liked Trini best. Maybe because she was asian LOL.
Do you have a favorite book or author?
Choose one show: Smallville or One Tree Hill?
Were you an LFO fan?
Did you ever vote on TRL?
Did you watch the State of the Union Address?
Chad Michael Murray 02-02-2006, 07:57 PM Do you have a favorite book or author?
Well, I really don't read as much as I always think I should, but I gotta give props to Stephen King. I've read 'IT' and 'Misery', and of course they're just great. He's practically a living legend, and there are a few pretty good movies that I enjoy based off of his books.
Choose one show: Smallville or One Tree Hill?
OUCH! Way to hit me where it hurts!
As big of a CMM fan as I am...and as big of a OTH fan as I am...I have to say Smallville.
The reason I say that is because whatever other show Chad was on in the future or whatever movie he was in, I'd definitely watch it and still support him. And even though I'm a OTH fan, I think I might be just a bit more of a Smallville fan, and I'm so wrapped up in the world that the show takes place in. If OTH was cancelled, I'd be pretty sad, but if Smallville was gone, I'd feel like it was the end of an era.
Were you an LFO fan?
They had a couple of songs that I liked, but I wasn't really a big fan or anything. They certainly wouldn't be the first thing I thought of when I was reflecting back on that time period.
Did you ever vote on TRL?
Never. :( All of the videos/artists I liked always got to #1 and stayed there forever anyway though, so I felt like I didn't need to waste my time.
Did you watch the State of the Union Address?
Kind of.
Nothing else was on, and I was too lazy to put in a DVD, so I just kinda had it on for the heck of it.

Plus...every other picture of him, ever.
Do you watch The OC?
Nope, but only because I didn't get to see it from the beginning. Eventually, I'll probably get around to watching it.
What is the most hideous fashion trend of the 90's in your opinion?
The grunge period. No explanation needed.
Favorite movie?
Ferris Bueller's Day Off! It's timeless. I can watch it a million times and never get sick of it. I love all of the stunts he's able to pull off so easily and never get caught, no matter how close he comes. I've always thought of Ferris as sort of like the real world equivalent to Bugs Bunny, if that makes sense.
Do you like Lifetime movies?
No WAY. I can't stand them. But, I have to admit, there have been a couple of times when I came across one and got sucked into it. They're vicious, conniving beasts, those Lifetime movies...
What are your views on interracial dating/marriage?
I have no view on it at all, in the sense that I feel like in this day and age, it shouldn't be as big of a deal as some people still try to make it out to be. I don't find people of two different races marrying to be any different than two people of the same race marrying, seriously. People are people, and it doesn't make a difference to me who someone wants to marry.
Did you vote this past presidential election?
Yes, although it didn't wind up doing me much good, I suppose. :(
What are your views on stem cell research?
Well, I think it's a good thing, if it can lead to some amazing medical breakthroughs in the future...which I think it eventually will.
Have you seen the movie Crash?
No...should I?
Could you tell me how to get to Sesame Street?
Yeah...see that hooker standing down there at the end of the sidewalk? Make a left at that corner and just keep walking. Eventually you'll run into a giant yellow bird, can't miss it.
If you end up in The Land of Make Believe, though, then turn back around because you've gone too far.
Could I be the next Barbara Walters?
No, but only because you can pronounce the letter R.

yep, I know what you mean, not necessarily with Smallville, but I felt exactly that way when Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Sex And The City both ended. Had Charmed ended maybe two years ago, I would've felt that way for that too, but IMO, it's overstayed it's welcome.
Maybe if OTH ends, Chad can join the cast of Smallville. I mean, Smallville had Jensen for a whole year :)

how would you react if you found out your best friend was a crossdresser with downs syndrome who likes necrophilia? ;)
Chad Michael Murray 02-04-2006, 09:09 PM What are your current goals?
Hmm...well, I'd have to say that for the moment, my current goals are to get through school, and hopefully for my girlfriend and myself to be able to start living together this Fall. Other than that, everything else is just icing on the cake.
What is your favorite Mariah Carey song?
Actually, I used to be a pretty big fan of hers, before the meltdown and the Glitter incident. My favorite one that I always loved the best was "I Still Believe".
What is your favorite drink?
Dr. Pepper
Who do you think should run for president in 08'?
This one's easy! Hilary Clinton.
Are you going to watch The Superbowl?
Eh. It actually doesn't interest me at ALL. In the past, I used to watch if I knew somebody I liked in the halftime show would be on, or the year I watched to see Britney's new Pepsi commercials.
Do you think this is OTH's last season?
I hope not! :( I have faith that it will be back.
Do you think Jake will come back?
Hmm. I think I'll dig out the Magic 8 ball and see...
"It is possible."
Do you want him to come back?
Yes! Without a doubt.
Who is your favorite girl out of Haley, Brooke, Peyton?
Hmm...that's a tough one. Appearance-wise, it'd be Brooke, but in terms of personality...I think I might have to say Peyton.
Favorite adult on OTH?
Whitey! No contest.
*SIDE NOTE*: Boy am I having trouble coming up with humorous responses tonight!!
does this image make you crave artichokes?
Not as much as it makes me think that maybe an eyepatch is the only thing missing from my ensemble today.
how would you react if you found out your best friend was a crossdresser with downs syndrome who likes necrophilia?
...are you trying to tell us something here?

Why doesn't Donald Trump get a new hairdo?
Chad Michael Murray 02-05-2006, 12:04 AM Do you feel pressured to give humorous responses?
I dunno, I guess it's just the fact that I feel like if people are going to be reading an entire thread about me, then I at least want to make it my duty to try and entertain them a little bit.
Do you feel like a celebrity?
Nah, I'm no more of a celebrity than everybody else who's been answering all of your questions so far, along with all of the other great members here at SO!!
If you could choose one show to watch for the rest of your life...and only that one show, what would it be and why?
Oooh, good one!! Hmm. If I could only watch ONE show for the rest of my life...wow.
I think I'd actually have to say wrestling. Why, you ask? Well, it's simple. Firstly, my criteria has to be that it entertains me, which that does. Secondly, I like to at least have some hot people on the shows I watch, and I would be able to get my fill of hot girls and guys by watching wrestling. And the third and most important thing is that...there's no off season/rerun time! No reruns, and plus it never ends. If I went with one of my favorite series, eventually there'd be an ending, and I'd just have to rewatch the series over and over again. If I watch wrestling, though, then I always have something new to look forward to.
