I've heard that back in 2001 that the topic most often discussed at SO was the great Nancy McKeon. And I think it needs to be that way again. So I am calling out to all Jo and Jinny fans to join me in the Nancy McKeon mafia. It will be our mission to make sure that every single person here at SO knows who Nancy is. So, who is with me? :D

Those were the good old days! Boy, there were some SERIOUS Nancy fans! And a lot of posters made fun of her and said that she had no talent. That is, I am sure, to get the Nancy-ites all riled up! Wow! there were some fights going on then!:lol: Personally I like Nancy and The Facts Of Life.:D

I like Nancy but lost a lot of respect for her by the way she dismissed FOL in an interview a few years back. It's one thing to be like Bea Arthur and not want to do a reunion, but still be proud of what you've accomplished (she vowed never to do Maude and Golden Girl reunion specials), but Nancy really doesn't realize that Jo is what brought her as many fans as she had. Kim's had as much success as Nancy post-FOL and she's not ashamed at all to remember her FOL heyday.

Oh god. I used to be a part of the Nancy uproar many years ago.

Oh my yes I remember those days. I remember Mossopp harassin' y'all by saying that she just didn't get why everyone thought Nancy was the most beautiful actress in the world. (*sigh*....I miss that girl, she was funny....)

As for me? I like Nancy and Jo Polniaczek will always be one of my all-time favorite TV characters.

However, since I like both Jo and FOL more than I like Nancy (although to me Nancy is Jo), I too am discomforted/angry about her dismissal of FOL.

I mean, get over yourself. FOL put you on the map, and you should be thankful for it.
