View Full Version : Do you follow the latest trends?
Howdoulikemenow333 01-29-2006, 10:24 PM Do you follow trends, like clothes, watching movies, tv or music, or you just fallow your own rules to hell with everyone else? Do what you want to do as long as it make you happy or feel good. For instance on The Learning Channel What Not To Wear, Stacy and Cliton can get ugly sometimes. What you wear is your business, but I guess there's some limit. Never wear a bikini to school. Do you follow the trends of Hollywood, like do you follow Paris HiltonHillary Duff,or Lindsey Lohan. For the guys do you follow Brad Pitt, George Clooney?
Nighthawk76 01-29-2006, 10:26 PM When it comes to clothes I follow fashion to a certain degree. I don't feel like I have to totally be in fashion, but I don't want to look like a clown either.
Polniaczek033 01-29-2006, 10:31 PM no one can say they don't, because everyone does to a certain degree. i don't try to dress like paris hilton, hilary duff or any other celebrity, and i don't shop at american eagle and abercrombie, but i still try to look nice. i think a lot, most, of the stuff that teenage girls wear is really ugly. i don't get it.
ps. i completely agree with the text under your user title. the thing that says "send more brains!!!!" yeah.
EmoJoe 01-29-2006, 10:38 PM eh. at some things. but not really
and no i dont follows Brad Pitt or George Clooney, who does?
the "trend" for guys is punk/jock...but more punk.
for girls its having highlights and wearing shirts with weird sayings on them.
*Pleasant Tomorrow* 01-29-2006, 10:44 PM only with things like clothes, I'm pretty much on my own with everything else
Brad Russ 01-29-2006, 11:46 PM Only if I like the trend, which isn't very often. For the most part, I just wear what I think looks good on me. As far as movies and stuff go, I tend to be more into lesser known stuff. I'm more into documentaries and Indy films, than I am with the current big blockbusters of the day.
I follow trends sometimes. I dress like a typical New Yorker and I like violent movies but I don't follow every trend.
snl 70s show fan 01-30-2006, 04:14 AM i never have been one for following trends
Stormtracker TF 01-30-2006, 07:06 AM I don't follow trends much, but like everyone else, I do to a certain degree.
Pitooey 01-30-2006, 09:03 AM When I was younger I did but, then it started to get expensive. I do buy current handbags though. ;)
Race's Girl 01-30-2006, 09:08 AM Of course I do, duh
MsOrange 01-30-2006, 09:28 AM if I like the trend I'll follow it, but i don't follow it just because it's a trend
The Chauffeur 01-30-2006, 10:38 AM Not really. Maybe some music or tech gadgets, but not fashion or the Hollywood crap. I like having my style
gilligan fanatic 01-30-2006, 01:31 PM not at all. I like what I like.
Hollow 01-30-2006, 06:40 PM ew no. the sense of caring what people think of you as far as being respectful, etc aside; i would be listening to ****ty emo music and bashing britney and christina because they're such "sluts". i like pop music among pretty much every other musical genre in existence besides emo, country and jazz/blues but primarily i'm a metalhead. the whole emo/punk thing may be "in" but classic metal is not, thank god. if something i like becomes all the rage, so be it; but i hate being just like everyone else.
EmoJoe 01-30-2006, 06:43 PM if I like the trend I'll follow it, but i don't follow it just because it's a trend
same with me..im not gonna avoid just cause its a trend if i like it but if i dont like it, then i won't follow it.
the trend right now is emo music, and i dont like emo music, so...

I can't stand that emo ****, it literally makes me sick now. It's the kids with the most friends and good grades at school who are so "emo." What a ****ing joke. Emo music can die, too.

robyrob 01-30-2006, 07:49 PM i have never had a clue when it comes to anything trendy, I have always been completely oblivious to it.
Courtnee 01-30-2006, 07:54 PM i frankly don't care. i just wear/listen/act how i like.
