View Full Version : Trivia Time!
Kristen 01-29-2006, 09:54 PM It's been a little quiet around here lately, so I thought maybe we should play a game (No, not like Ted's 20 Questions in "My Brother's Keeper"! hehe). I thought maybe trivia would give us something to do while we wait for the rest of the series to come out on DVD. ;)
OK, here's how this works. I'll post the first question, and whoever posts the correct answer FIRST gets to ask the next question. And just to level the playing field a bit, let's try and focus on the seasons that are currently on DVD.
First question:
Who has the same blood type as Lou?
ClassicTVGal 01-29-2006, 11:19 PM First question:
Who has the same blood type as Lou?
I actually cannot remember the answer to this one, but am going to take a guess and say Ted.
Kristen 01-30-2006, 12:11 AM I actually cannot remember the answer to this one, but am going to take a guess and say Ted.
Nope, it's not Ted. Keep guessing.
Leigh Ann 01-31-2006, 05:19 PM Hmm, I'm guessing here, is it Murray?
Kristen 01-31-2006, 11:35 PM Hmm, I'm guessing here, is it Murray?
LOL, nope. But at least we're narrowing it down! :)
ClassicTVGal 02-01-2006, 12:28 AM I wasn't going to guess this, but will go ahead...
Gordy?
Kristen 02-01-2006, 12:44 AM I wasn't going to guess this, but will go ahead...
Gordy?
Nope. Would it help anybody if I said this answer was from an S3 episode? lol
ClassicTVGal 02-01-2006, 05:19 PM Nope. Would it help anybody if I said this answer was from an S3 episode? lol
I figured it was from Season 3 and probably from "Operation: Lou". I just don't remember anything about blood types being discussed.
GrandGame1440 02-01-2006, 08:56 PM Mary?
Kristen 02-01-2006, 10:17 PM Mary?
Yes, finally! :D And it did come from "Operation: Lou." Ted says to Lou, "If you need blood, I checked. You and Mary have the same type."
Justin, your turn to ask a question. I hope you have better luck than I did, lol.
Kristen
GrandGame1440 02-02-2006, 11:39 AM Nice! Ok, I'll ask one from a show I just saw last night. What are the words to the Ted Baxter's Famous Broadcasters School alma matter?
ClassicTVGal 02-02-2006, 12:40 PM Yes, finally! :D And it did come from "Operation: Lou." Ted says to Lou, "If you need blood, I checked. You and Mary have the same type."
Oh! That's right! I had forgotten that part! LOL ;) And I did almost say Mary... oh well... lol.
GrandGame1440 02-03-2006, 01:49 PM Does anyone know? LOL, if not I guess I'll ask another question.
ClassicTVGal 02-03-2006, 10:59 PM I don't remember, but if you *do* ask another, would you mind giving us the answer to the other one first? :)
Kristen 02-04-2006, 12:22 AM Does anyone know? LOL, if not I guess I'll ask another question.
If you ask another one, you might have better luck sticking to the seasons that are on DVD right now (1-3). I know the answer to your question, but I want to let other people ask some instead of just me, lol.
Pentimento 02-04-2006, 01:21 PM Wasn't it something like: "We have no gym and we have no pool, but we have heart at Ted Baxter's Famous Broadcaster's School."?
(If that's right, do I have to ask the next question? I'd rather not.)
GrandGame1440 02-05-2006, 09:28 PM Yes! But since you don't want to ask a question, I guess I'll ask another one. In season 3, which episode did Georgette make her 1st appearance?
ClassicTVGal 02-06-2006, 01:38 AM Yes! But since you don't want to ask a question, I guess I'll ask another one. In season 3, which episode did Georgette make her 1st appearance?
The episode where Rhoda plans on leaving Minneapolis to go back to New York. And Mary doesn't believe her.
"Rhoda Morganstern: Minneapolis to New York"
ClassicTVGal 02-10-2006, 11:38 AM I thought someone would tell me "correct" or whatnot... oh well... I'll ask the next one.
According to Mary, What just might be a first in automotive History?
