I was alarmed when Dish unexpectedly pulled Lifetime with no warning, espeically since Dish subscribers voted that Lifetime was one of their favorite networks! I work with Lifetime from time to time, so I can say that Lifetime is more than upset about this. I mean, that's just rude to do something like that in the middle of a dispute with no warning.
Is anyone else upset about this?

I know, I've been hearing this from other Dish subscribers as well - the thing is they were trying to lower Lifetime's rates by 30%! And they told all their viewers that Lifetime was asking for 70% increase - the rise that Lifetime was asking for was a matter of pennies - something comparable to what Dish pays its other networks. And now Dish subscribers will be paying mroe starting February 1st. I wonder how Dish will be explaining this. Media outlets report that Dish significantly overpaid for bordcast stations and is seeking to recoup its losses by taking it out on Lifetime and LMN. hmmm... the plot thickens, and yet it is so obvious dont you think?
jamier42 - sorry to hear that you are mising out on your favorite shows - there are plenty of people who feel that same.
You guys can send an ecard made by Lifetime to the CEO of dish if you like. It's funny and the more he gets, the more it cannot be denied that Dish has dasappointed their subcscribers. here's the link http://www.lifetimetv.com/about/dish_ecard.php
Thank you guys!! Keep sharing the opinions, as I will pass your thoughts along to Lifetime!

once seasons 4-7 of Golden Girls are out on DVD, I'll never need Lifetime again. I rarely watch them on Lifetime as is because they cut too much out of each episode
