This is probably some of the worst news I've ever heard.

According to lambgoat (http://lambgoat.com):
Seattle hardcore band Champion will reportedly be breaking up following a few final shows during the coming weeks. Formed in 1999, the group has put out several releases with Bridge Nine Records (a new deal with Equal Visions Records has recently been rumored as well). Champion will likely play their final show in March in Seattle.

This is very sad. They were a great band.

This is very sad. They were a great band.I work in Seattle. How come I've never heard about this band??

Prolly because Seattle is still infatuated with artsy college alternative-lite post-grunge bands instead of anything really metal or hardcore.
