Horses. I was always used to seeing the car riding down the road with the Alice logo showing. I'm watching the pilot episode right now and wanted to know if these are the opening credits that are shown for the entire first season?

Nope. They only showed it for the first episode. It looks really weird to see them walking around town, getting ice cream, etc. I liked in the end credits when they're playing baseball in a deserted field.

*Also, let me know what u think of the original Tommy(Alfred Lutter, III)-lol

The Original Tommy was a true Dork-lol Also I will try to get another Alice episode from you from the year of 1984. The guest star was Fred Berry from What's Happening

I never knew the pilot had a different opening. I thought it was similar to the ones with Phillip McKeon.

Are u serious? I haven't watched the 1984-85 eps yet. I don't think I've even seen one except for the finale. So far I'm up to 1983 in watching them-lol.

Mel's Diner looked REALLY different to me too. All the booths were white and it looked more like a diner from the 50s-lol

The rest of the first season had the same opening as the 2nd, although they changed the music slightly for the 2nd season. They also had short versions for both seasons, the 1st season one was the same music, just shortened, the 2nd season short version was similar to the long one, but was actually a little different. (if that made sense? ;) )

Yes that makes sense because it's only usually in the very first episode when the opening theme is extended, after that it's shortened. In some shows the closing credits were extended and then shortened after the first episode

is there anywhere or anyway I can get seasons 2 & 3 on DVD. I
>understand that Paramount won't release these seasons because of
>music rights. My kids absolutley love the first season but are
>getting very anxious for the next two seasons. My daugther asked
>for those two seasons for her birthday which is coming up in two
>weeks. Is there anywhere or anyone who has it taped that would sell
>it to me? I never really like the episodes past season 3 when they
>graduate from high school as they became corny but the first 3
>seasons are awesome

I don't think it was just the first episode that had the longer one...some had the longer one, some had the shorter one.

He was part of a break dancing troupe that Mel threw out of the diner, thinking they were hoodlums. Mel didn't know they were going to be performing at the diner later on as part of an arts festival. Anyway, he wasn't playing Rerun. His characters name was Bobo.
