Who else here has seen the latest Billy Joel concert (or is going to see it) in NYC? I saw it a couple nights ago (my 1st live concert!!!) and was blown away at how great he was with everything! I have a total new respect for my favorite musician of all time! He was agile, greater than ever on the piano (especially when he did his world famous opening to ANGRY YOUNG MAN as the opening number!), and out-of-this-world singing!

All of the songs he did were so terrific that the audience, including I, were dancing and singing their hearts out! It was a blast! Anyone else have the honor to see the most fantastic musician of all time in this fantastic, 5-star concert?

Sadly, I didn't get my tickets on time for this record breaking series of shows, but congrats for choosing Billy Joel as your first concert experience.
I have had the pleasue of seeing him in concert a number of times, and he always puts on a great show.

I have never seen Billy Joel in concert, but I heard he broke Springsteens record for sold out shows at MSG. I would love to seem him though.

Yeah, it was great. Kind of a birthday present, and a damn good one, at that, too!

Wow, that sucks... Some radio stations ARE giving tickets away like Q104.3, maybe you should tune in sometime and see if they're still giving them away...

never seen him in person but I do remember he gave an HBO concert a number of years ago and I thought he was great
