well, two hit shows for an actor is pretty hard to find, but how about the occasional one who had three hits... and better yet, three hits on three networks?

Jane Curtin came to immediate mind with Crumbs on ABC. This is her third hit series since leaving SNL in 1980 or so. In the 1980's, Jane had a hit on CBS with Kate And Allie, and then in the 1990's, she had a hit on NBC with Third Rock From The Sun, and now she's doing well on ABC with Crumbs.

Are there any other actors out there who'll had similar success on three or more networks? I know Michael Landon had three hits, but all were NBC shows.

If you count Showtime as a network, Malcolm Jamal Warner had Cosby Show on NBC, Malcolm & Eddie on UPN and Jeremiah on Showtime.

If you count Rags to Riches as a hit, Tisha Campbell had Rags to Riches on NBC, Martin on Fox and My Wife & Kids on ABC.

richard dawson had hits on all 3 networks he had hogans heros on cbs family feud on abc and from 1971 till 73 he was a cast member on laugh in over on nbc

"Dear John" on NBC
and currently is on "Numb3rs" on CBS.

Taxi ran 5 seasons (4 on ABC)
Dear John ran 4 seasons
and Numb3rs is in its second season and I think it can be considered a hit.

all of Landon's shows were NBC hits (I actually used him as an example on the first post) and I believe all of Lucy's shows were CBS. I meant people who have had hits on three or more different networks

I don't think Dear John was really that much of a hit. And it's certainly the least popular show to ever air on Thurday Nights on NBC.

Actually Dear John was in the top 20 twice during those 4 years They were ranked #11 their first year.. I think Good Morning Miami might have been the lowest rated Must See TV Show. I believe Grand was also lower ranked and quite a few others were too.


Come to think of it I think Rhythm And Blues might have been the lowest ranked show on Must See Thursday. It Inherited ADW's timeslot and was gone in a month and I know that show was never ranked in the top 20.

Gerald McRaney had 3 hit shows: Simon And Simon, Major Dad and Promised Land but they were all on CBS. I don't think their were a whole lot of people who had them on 3 different networks.

I couldn't think of anyone who was on 3 Networks, that hasn't already been said, but I was watching Grey's Anatomy a little while ago and Saw Betty Garret. She was on CBS' All In The Family in 1974, Through the entire 4th season, as Irene Lorenzo. She went to ABC's Laverne and Shirley in 1976, and stayed there for 6 years, as Edna Babbish-Defazio

Buffy The Vampire Slayer was on WB for five seasons and UPN for two seasons, and now How I Met Your Mother is doing well on CBS. Therefore she technically has had hits on three networks, and if Buffy doesn't count twice, she has appeared on Veronica Mars several times on the UPN

Kim Fields had two hits and one non-hit on three different networks. There was Facts of Life on NBC and Living Single on Fox, but before those she was a regular on the ABC sitcom Baby I'm Back, which lasted less than a full season.

Craig T. Nelson was in three shows. Two out of these three shows were hits.

I'm pretty sure she was on 3 episodes of Vereonica Mars. But since Guest appearences count, She was also on ABC's Roseanne.

Jennifer Love Hewitt is on Ghost Wisperer (CBS), She was also on FOX's Party Of Five for 4 years.

Amber Tamblyn starred on General Hospital (ABC Daytime), Joan Of Arcadia (CBS), and Guested on Buffy The Vampire Slayer's 6th season Halloween Episode. (UPN)

I agree, it is stupid and catty, when I saw that post, I was "what the ****, get over it already!!!", plus, that was like two months ago and you never really dismissed it, you just said it wasn't your all time favorite show

I take it If I say Buddy Ebsen, I know he only had 2 shows well You could count Davy Crocket on World of Disney, You would probably tell me they were all on one network. I have hard coming up with 3 different show let alone different Networks. I'm not playing this game. Too Hard.
