Now to what everyone has been waiting for! Paramount TV DVD answers! You've asked, we've got some answers. The biggest question we were getting the past month or so was, "What happened to the Wings Seasons 1 and 2 DVD that was supposed to come out on Feb. 7?" The answer is... it is coming, but in May! Paramount wanted to pair it up with the next installments of both Cheers and Frasier (both season 8 sets). And if that is not all, Paramount will give Wings "The Brady Bunch Treatment" (meaning, season sets in a very fast pace). We can expect season 3 a few months or so after the first two seasons and then a few months later season 4 as well.

That's great news. However, and I don't want to be negative, but all five seasons of "Taxi" were said to be coming out by September of 2005. It's now the end of January 2006 and still no fourth and fifth seasons. I believe Pavanbadal with the news, I just hope Paramount doesn't screw with us and change things again.

I wonder why Paramount seems so sure about "Wings" by planning the first four seasons before seasons 1 & 2 have been released? Maybe they've had a lot of people asking about the show and they know it's got a huge fan base.

If this is true then I'll have my favorite Christmas episode out by this Christmas. I'm one of the few fans who loves "The Customer Is usually Right."

Also, if they continue at this rate, all of the series will be out by the end of 2007. Seasons one through four in 2006 and seasons five through eight in 2007!

I think this is a situation where I'll believe it when I see it....I don't want to get my hopes up like I did about it being out in February...:rolleyes:

Well I hope it's May. Either way, it is coming because about a month ago Tvshowsondvd.com said that Paramount had started a folder on their site for Wings. They explained that when a folder is created, the show is coming soon. Then, they start adding graphics, info to the folder. So far, there wasn't any graphics (DVD cover) as of a month ago. So, I am guessing this could be right, just a slower process for us.

What bothers me is, if it's in the blog, why aren't we hearing anything from tvshowsondvd? Getting an email from them always makes these things seem more "official" somehow.

At least for the studios the site has good relationships with, we usually have news posted a few days before TVShowsonDVD.com. On studios we don't, it's usually the other way around.

LOL, I'll finally have edited all seven seasons onto personal dvds from TV Land and the real thing will be out. Ah, well...my dvr'd eps will tide me over til then.

I assume it's planned with Cheers and Frasier since they're all interconnected with each other.

Wow it's great they're going to give it the Brady Bunch treatment with the releases so fast :D
