In the episode when doug went to carrie's for thanksgiving to meet her dad in 1993. in a more recent episode her and doug just started dating in 1995 and was pretending to work at IPS. the writers really screwed that up:mad:

sit-coms. They're not supposed to happen--but they do.

also in the episode where he was in 1995 and had met carrie it was the first time he met Deacon but in an earlier episode doug and Deacon worked as bodyguards at a club and it looked like it was 1985...
