View Full Version : If money were no object, what car, vehicle, boat, etc. would you like to have?
Ireneparalegal 01-27-2006, 06:57 PM I have always wanted a blue corvette. Preferably this style. I always like the way it looks.
I also want a motorhome with all the luxuries, kinda like the ones the musical bands have with all the luxuries of home, very comfy.
Chad Michael Murray 01-27-2006, 07:15 PM OMG, Irene...
I've always wanted a blue Corvette TOO, and that was exactly what I intended to post right when I got into this thread. It's amazing that you've beaten me to it!! The newer, the better...at least, for me.

Riiight on Brother!!!!!! (for those who are confused, Chad Michael Murray is my long lost twin psychic brother...we were separated in the womb!!)
Mine, would have to be blue, a nice custom blue with pearl paint job, with some nice rims and totally fixed up. I would have to have my satellite radio, navigation, etc.

YoliUSA 01-27-2006, 07:58 PM If money were no object, I would like to own either a Bentley Continental GT or a Jaguar X-Type.:D
GARFIELDKOOL 01-27-2006, 08:59 PM it's got to be a Jaguar for me.

Pitooey 01-28-2006, 11:08 AM This is the car I would buy. A Mercedes SUV.
Pitooey 01-28-2006, 11:39 AM Or most definitely this one. The Jauguar S type.........
Pitooey 01-28-2006, 11:41 AM Heck! I would also add this Infiniti for my collection.
gilligan fanatic 01-28-2006, 11:51 AM a Rolls Royce convertible.
bad_boy 01-28-2006, 03:01 PM 1959 Desoto Sportsman
TheHappyBurgerMeister 01-28-2006, 07:27 PM I'm not really into cars very much, but I'd like something small, like a sports car or something like a sedan. I hate big cars like trucks, vans, or SUV's!
dawsongirl 01-28-2006, 07:28 PM Corvette, baby. Preferably black or red.
Fleet 01-28-2006, 07:46 PM 1959 Desoto Sportsman
Good choice. Those late '50s DeSotos are nice. I prefer the '57 Adventurer with the 345-cu.-in Hemi with 345 horsepower.
Anyway, since good examples sell for about $15,000-30,000, I would choose a 1969 Dodge Coronet R/T 440-Magnum (buckets, console, auto trans, 3.55 gears) like the one below. I would mildly modify the engine so it would run in the 12s (that's standing start 1/4 mile for you non-muscle car people).
~*Hannah_Lee*~ 01-28-2006, 08:42 PM Ferrari F430 Spyder, probably in either the silver shown here, or black, or red.
MrsRitter 01-29-2006, 12:00 AM id have to buy at least 2 of each. i wouldnt buy a car because i cant drive yet.
~*Hannah_Lee*~ 01-29-2006, 02:53 AM Oh my gosh, how could I forget this one? When I graduate college and get a job as a pharmacist or pediatrician and pay off my student loans....this will be what I buy. An Acura! I love them so much.

Fleet 01-29-2006, 03:33 AM Since money would be no object, I would also choose this '68 Dodge Hemi-Charger like this one...
Car & Driver tested one and got a 0-60 mph time of 4.8 seconds, 0-100 mph in 12.5 seconds and a top speed of 156 mph. Second gear was good up to 107 mph!

lockdown06 02-02-2006, 05:12 PM A Red 1964 Pontiac GTO with a 389 and the Tri-Power, 4-Speed, Black Interior.
A 1970 Chevy Truck 4x4. Lifted about 10-12" with a 454 ci. Motor, 4-Speed (with Granny). 38" Tires. Brush Guard, Roll Bar, Spot Lights. Painted Orange. (6-8 MPG but since money aint no thang....I'll take it)
And I'd have an exact replica of the General Lee.

Mr. Stefani 02-02-2006, 05:16 PM I've been wanting this car forever now. My mom and stepdad are getting it, since they just got rid of my moms work car. My dream cars are all resonable priced, i'm not into bentlys and such. Honestly I dont think i'll be capable of driving it, it looks better than sex.
