"Willona Gets Involved" instead of the Evans get Involved? Because Thelma, J.J or Michael never got involved in the Penny situation with her mother, it was Willona. So I never understood why it was titled the "The Evans Get Involved" when Willona was clearly the only one trying to get Penny away from her mother

True. But Willona was always with the Evans' for one reason or another (rarely in her own apt) so, yeah, technically she was an Evans...LOL

I agree with that. The only one who was involved with Penny from the family was JJ. And he didn't half give a s**t anyway.

I remember during the summertime, I asked whether or not Willona was prying too much into Penny's life. She (and JJ) had no right to take her to the doctor like that. I know she was abused, but at the time, Penny didn't belong to Willona. And abusive parents such as Mrs. Gordon could've easily done something about it, which she did.

I agree with you there Solomon. Besides, by season 5, Willona was the star of the show, so the title should've reflected that.

If that show was played today CPS would had been immediatly reported. You cannot take a child to the doctors on your own power. With the laws changing and regulations regarding adults and minors an adult needs to take caution when dealing someone else's child. I personally thought Willona did the right thing by taking he to the doctors because if she would waited more damage could had been dealt with.
